Wait… The Beatles played here?! 👀
This plaque marks the spot where McCartney and Lennon performed in Caversham, long before the kind of fan frenzy that had people trying to mail themselves to the band. 🎸
Back in 1960, the two of them took over The Fox and Hounds, a Caversham favourite, as “The Nerk Twins”, apparently to only a handful of people.
🤯 Mad to think something that small turned into… well, everything that came after.
Next time you’re in Caversham, keep an eye out for this one—it’s easy to miss, but it’s a good one!
