#Thuns – A slang term that originated in New York City hip-hop and street culture. It’s a stylized take on “sons” or “duns,” and is used to refer to close friends, your crew, your day-ones — your people.
This track is an ode to “My Thuns.”
The inspiration hit when I saw
@danielamontero1018 dancing on IG to Maze & Frankie Beverly’s We Are One — a timeless classic that radiates unity and good vibes. That moment brought back a feeling I had to honor. So I added my own twist to that theme of friendship and togetherness.
