2020- The one where I directed a visualizer.
On this day I made my friends perform to this song and they indulged me 😂
I had only told them about three days earlier that I had an idea for a shoot and that they should come looking like African queens. The idea was simple, African woman loving herself and other women. And boy did they get the memo, because look at all that melanin goodness in this video. They showed up, trusted the vision, and completely delivered.

I shared a few throwbacks on my stories recently, but I saved this one for the feed. It deserves a permanent spot.
Grateful for friends who indulge my creative ideas and show up with such generosity.
Hopefully we all find ourselves in the same place again someday.
