Thank you for coming to the world premiere of AT HOME WITH WORK in Singapore for @sgiffest .
It was brilliant to have a packed cinema hall watching a film about what it means to bring work home and what effects that has on us as individuals, and us as society.
Super glad to have @nbskyyy , @onemanfarmer , @syxelala come down to answer questions from the audience too.
Missing @free_peanut & @estherachel at this premiere, so let's get you for our next screening so audiences can also ask you questions :)
If you want to know more about the film, or connect us with someone interested in distribution, programming please do drop us an email or DM!

Our debut feature, 'At Home with Work' follows four home-based business owners, carving their ideal life in Singapore. Away from ordinary careers, it looks at how homes are irrevocably changed to suit the needs for work; graying the boundary between work and rest.
This film is co-produced together with National University of Singapore, Department of Architecture.
Featuring: Esther Rachel Lai, Nabill Shukry, Marcus Koe, Alexys Tjhia, Lee Yoke Wen
Directed, produced, and edited: Adar Ng and Dave Lim
Executive Producer/ Concept: Lilian Chee
Producer: Woong Soak Teng
Colourist: Eugene Seah
Sound Design: Nathaniel Mah
Poster Design: Goh Sze Kei/ Marcus Loh
The film will be premiering at Singapore International Film Festival, 30th November 2025, Sunday 9:30pm @ GV Cineleisure Hall 1.
Step into a day in the life of a mum-influencer, a meal-prep founder, a somatic healer and a permaculture farmer.
We meet Adar Ng (@adar.ng ) and Dave Lim (@davelim.art ) of @thirdstreet.studio , directors of the observational documentary, "At Home with Work", which follows four home-based business owners as the boundaries between their personal and professional worlds become increasingly blurred.
Following their previous work, "The Spaces Between Us", which documented Singapore's experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, their new film showcases a more intimate filmmaking approach that involves closer collaboration with their subjects.
Catch "At Home with Work" on 30 November at GV Cineleisure. Ticket information will be released very soon!

Here's some of our favourite shots (and more bonus to come!)
agency: @do.not.design
photographer: @davelim.art
assistants: Katrina (@katrinacapel ), Noah (@pineshavings ), Justin (@__jnkm )
Back in 2024, I was asked by @seancham / @do.not.design to photograph Yale-Nus, my alma mater for it's First and Last Book.
I started with a brief for the photos, primarily to show student & staff life to supplement various parts of the book. When approaching this, I knew that existing photographs of beautiful architecture and general student/ staff life was already well captured by photographers before me.
I then decided to focus a good amount of time and energy into angles of oddity and photos of transition; where things hint towards a liminality where Yale-nus would be in our minds. The unresolved nature of things will just have to be. These are some of my favourite photos up to date, that I've taken of the campus. I don't think I would have been able to photograph spaces like this during or immediately after college.
Some of these photos are now in print in a beautiful hardcover book that was given out during the 2025 reunion. Special thanks also to Bryanna for being an integral part of accessing the community again for photos :)
thank you @thirdstreet.studio for immortalizing @maytheland in these beautiful shots. swipe to relive the moment in ish chronological order (from full dress rehearsals lel but come suspend ur disbelief once again for the full experience ;) (also im soangy that being aware of the camera makes me a surprised piakchu face BUT IM DOING THIS FOR THE PRINCIPLE OKAY 😭 FOR THE LOVE)
i continue to remain stunned that we made THIS happen, as i am recognised in the mrt by ync faces i havent registered before, as the telegram chats continue to xiao bubble with activity, as i sit with the keen knowing that our grief has invited, enfolded, held space for more grief and anger and pleasure and processing and Connecting and sitting with it all. & being, & breathing, & feeling, & living through the closure of ync... the re-neo-colonisation of the land (of course without consultation of/with the land and its inhabitants. par for the golf course as fuck🙄)
i look forwards to our wrap party, my dear collaborators, and am especially excited to post the ningningnongnong silly geese content that fills my camera roll to bursting x
see you all soon loves
loved working with @growaccelerator on concepts showcasing the need for breakthrough innovation within the realm of agriculture.
it's rare to receive a brief fully to use only stock footage, and we used a lot of great FPV footage from @artlist.io to bring everyone into the urgency and moment of our times.
worked with the indomitable @ihasamic to produce this banger for @plexsonic .
always love working with local brands who are willing to have fun when shooting videos!
thanks for the great collaboration.
