On 28th March, award-winning fashion designer and activist
@louisexincouture hosted the first-ever fashion show at the European’ Parliament. The event highlighted that millions of people who make our clothes are trapped in forced labour, including state imposed forced labour in the Uyghur region of China. The EU is failing to protect these people.
The
@goodclothesfairpay campaign was invited to present how our legal proposal for fair wages for garment workers worldwide would help address forced labour and reduce poverty.
