Suitable for all ages, this special night celebrates creativity, play, and performance, featuring works-in-progress from both emerging and experienced circus artists. Specialising in ground based circus arts including juggling, hula hoop, poi spinning, and acrobatics, Think Circus invites you into a space where artists can take risks, test ideas, and share something new. ✨ Teacher announcement ✨ We’re delighted to welcome Jenny Street to HoopScotch 2026! Jen is a multi-skilled artist who has been teaching and performing for over 16 years, gaining international recognition for her hoop dance. She runs Matrix Circus, a community-focused contemporary circus based in Cumbria, and is passionate about enhancing lives through circus arts. Jen has a strong track record of creating touring outreach projects that engage marginalised communities. She is a former older people’s and intensive care nurse, and holds a BTEC in Circus and Physical Theatre. Her skill set includes hoop dance, multi-hooping, circus theatre, stilt walking, interactive walkabout, fire dancing, fire safety, aerial performance, project management, singing, and songwriting. She creates visually mesmerising art that uplifts audiences, alongside thought-provoking theatre that explores human dynamics. Her work is driven by a desire to expand people’s sense of wonder and leave them feeling empowered.
