For us Holocaust Memorial Day is a reminder of how important it is to tell stories that have humanity and empathy at their heart. And to be unflinching and determined that these important voices, who have lived through the worst of times, are heard by as many people as possible.

These two episodes were such a pleasure and an honour, interviewing the father-daughter duos of my dear friend Yasmine @sayfitnesspt and her PAL/est/inian father and N@kba survivor Antoine @antoineraffoul followed by the national treasure and H0l0c@ust survivor Stephen Kapos @stephen_kapos and his brilliant daughter Andrea @andreakapos - both families who across background and faith have been fierce advocates of the same cause.
I met Yasmine in January and it’s been a real gift of this year to walk this year together, not just physically in protest but emotionally through grief, rage and friendship. To get to witness the first in-person meeting of Stephen and Antoine at the November national march was a moment etched into all of our minds forever, captured by chance (/divine intervention!) by @camilla_harriman
Film-maker Andrea is in the process of making a documentary with @think_make_create “The Last Survivors” about Stephen and Antoine’s parallel lives and intertwining experiences through powerful story-telling. Stay tuned!

Yesterday something amazing happened.
Amongst the hundreds of thousands of protesters at the march for Palestinian liberation, we filmed a crucial scene for the documentary. My dad @stephen_kapos child survivor of the Holocaust met @antoineraffoul child survivor of the 1948 Nakba.
Like an angel @camilla_harriman appeared to capture the moment alongside the film cameras..These are a few of her stunning photos. So much emotion captured so perfectly.
