Dear Hampton,
Thank you for making me into the woman I prayed to become. Without Hampton, these accolades don’t exist, my confidence isn’t sharpened, and the preparation for what’s ahead would still be unfinished.
The foundation has been built. Now it’s time for me to start my next chapter at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law…J.D. Loading ⚖️

Next stop Law School!!👩🏽⚖️💼
On May 8th, I graduated from the illustrious Hampton University. I always knew I wanted the HBCU experience because of my mom and her best friends but I never imagined I’d find my home 2,000 miles away in Virginia. Hampton became a place that shaped me in so many ways and I’m beyond grateful for these last four years of growth, memories, and lifelong connections.
And last but never least, Mom. Thank you for being my rock and my biggest supporter. Before I even knew Hampton was for me, you already did, and you never let me settle for less. Your strength, sacrifices, and unconditional love carried me through these four years more than words can explain. I love you forever. 🤍

“Growth and comfort cannot coexist”
To Hampton
Without my village, the adversities that shaped me, and the grace that carried me through, I would not be the person I am today. Every challenge taught me resilience, every setback became part of my growth, and every person who stood beside me reminded me that no dream is achieved alone.
Thank you to everyone who saw something in me and poured into the person I am today.
With love and grace,

On May 8, 2026, I officially graduated from the Illustrious Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Studies.
This journey was not always easy, and there were many moments that challenged me mentally, emotionally, and academically, but every experience along the way played a part in getting me to this moment. Reaching this milestone means more than I can put into words, and I know I would not have made it here without the love and support surrounding me.
To my friends and family, thank you for constantly pouring into me, encouraging me, and reminding me of my strength even during the moments I doubted myself. Your support helped me accomplish things I once thought were out of reach.
To the SCC, thank you for the opportunities, guidance, and experiences over these past four years. From trainings to networking, every space you allowed me to enter challenged me to lead, advocate, and serve both on this campus and beyond. I will always be grateful for the impact this work has had on me.
As I begin this next chapter, I am excited to announce that I will be attending George Mason University to pursue my Ed.S. in School Psychology. I look forward to continuing to pour into students and families while creating meaningful change in the communities I serve.
In the fall, I will be pursing my PharmD at Temple University School of Pharmacy @templepharmacy
To all my teachers, classmates, mentors and everyone who believed in me, guided me, and inspired me throughout this journey — thank you. I will never take your love, encouragement, and investment in me lightly.
A special thank you to Future of STEM Scholars Initiative @fossistem for your continued support and for intentionally placing me in spaces that allowed me to grow, learn and succeed! I would not be here without my village that believed in me along the way.
Hampton, all I can say is thank you.
Thank you for every accomplishment, every tear shed, every lesson learned, every prayer answered, every friendship formed, and every version of me that was shaped within my time here.
The girl leaving is truly not the girl that arrived. A Hampton woman, rooted in grace, strengthened by growth, and forever changed by the people, places, and purpose that made this journey unforgettable. I will carry these memories for a lifetime.
Forever letting my life do the singing 💙
