She wakes before sunrise and works until her body aches. And tonight, she will do what no mother should ever have to do tell her children to sleep early... so they can forget their hunger. Grace is not alone. She is the mother in Rivers State who sold her last wrapper just to buy rice. She is the widow in Ahoada whose farm was destroyed by floods. She is one of thousands of women doing everything right and still watching their children grow weaker.
