🏒✨ Et si le hockey devenait drag? Vernissage 📅 Jeudi 9 avril, 17h–20h 📍 La Centrale (4296 Boul. Opening 📅 Thursday April 9, 5–8 pm 📍 La Centrale (4296 Saint-Laurent Blvd.) 🗓 Exhibition from April 9 to May 23, 2026 A queer, inclusive and flamboyant hockey league is arriving in Montreal. With Queer Newfoundland Hockey League, artist Lucas Morneau transforms the imagery of hockey into a queer drag playground. Presented at La Centrale as part of its Canadian tour, the exhibition humorously overturns the male hegemony and homophobia embedded in sports culture. Through textiles, photography and sculpture, the exhibition celebrates an exuberant and expansive queer masculinity. 🥅 Join us to launch the exhibition and meet the artist. Lucas Morneau (they/he) is an interdisciplinary artist and curator from Ktaqmkuk (Newfoundland). Using drag as a central tool, their work explores gender performativity and challenges patriarchal and heteronormative systems. Stunned as me arse, 2026. Machine knit merino/nylon briefs, cotton cord, wooden clothes pins. It’s that time of year where I make a new one of a kind piece for Sweetest Little Thing, the cutest and best art auction that helps support @owensartgallery and @strutsgallery . These are kinda a sweetest big thing, as these are some pretty high waisted briefs. To bid on these art briefs, head over to @owensartgallery @strutsgallery and check the link in their bios!

Promo: The Paradise Poof, 2026. S-VHS video. Looks like The Paradise Poof wants his belt back from Dicky Bird Marshall. How will Dicky Bird respond, seeing as he’s both the current commissioner AND the son of Trans Atlantic Wrestling’s promoter Johnny Marshall Jr? A big thanks to @artsnb for supporting this project

Promo: Rhinestone Ron Johnstone, 2026. S-VHS video. Looks like Rhinestone Ron Johnstone heard what Big Poppa Bear had to say about him and had to respond! Who do you think will win the Trans Atlantic Wrestling Dom Top Championship? Thank you to @artsnb for the support with the creation of this video (and the wrestling belt!)
