This evening, I was able to share space and time with some beautiful women. I was a featured speaker at an event and had the opportunity to tell my story, unapologetically. I love carefully curated spaces like this. Della Marie is a free spirit, who says what she means and means what she says. I desire to empower people to walk in their truth and assert their voices without fear or regret. I am incredibly grateful for amazing Black women who keep inviting me to their tables to share my journey, wisdom, truth, and lessons with others. I am not palatable. I don’t say things that make people comfortable. I boldly, proudly, and confidently own every piece of myself and am grateful for the courage to walk the road that I was destined to travel. Thank you Mo for seeing, inviting, celebrating, understanding, honoring, and communing with me. Beloved, you are doing AMAZING healing work.
