This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ve teamed up with someone pretty special🧠💙 You might recognise Owen Wood from Race Across the World - and this May, he’s moving 30 kilometres to raise money for two incredible organisations: @giveusashoutinsta and @themixuk Every 30 seconds someone reaches out for mental health support. These services are there when it matters most - free, confidential and available 24/7. But they need our help to stay that way. As part of our YOU+ Brain Month, we’re proud to be backing Owen and this cause - because at Westminster Lodge, we believe your mental health deserves just as much attention as your physical health. And here’s the good news - you can take on your own challenge right here. Our pool, gym, running track and the beautiful Verulamium Park on our doorstep means you have everything you need to get your kilometres in. Come down, get moving and be part of something bigger this week🏊‍♂️🏃‍♀️🧠 Watch Owen’s story. Share it. And if you can - donate or take on the challenge yourself. Every step, every kilometre, every pound raised keeps these life-saving conversations going. 🔗 Link in bio to donate #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #RaceAcrossTheWorld #TheMix #EveryoneActive #WestminsterLodge

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we bring you ‘More Than One Story’: four short films, four stories of hope. A series brought to you by graduates of the National Film and Television School, in collaboration with Here4You and The Mix, these films explore moments of hope within mental health challenges affecting 16-18 year olds in the UK. Shaped by real young voices, the campaign aims to ensure young people feel supported and connected with their mental health. If you, or someone you know is struggling, reach out to themix.org.uk. We’re here for you. Stay tuned as we release a new film each day of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. First up tomorrow, ‘Rusty’ 🤖🎥 #TheMixUK #MoreThanOneStory

Today is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week. We’re shouting loudly that great mental health care isn’t just clinical, it’s human. It’s the kind voice at the end of the phone when you’re worried about rent and too unwell to work. It’s the adviser who listens actively, rather than waiting for their turn to speak. And it’s you reminding friends and loved ones that these contact details can save lives. Please share 💙 Visual description: A Green graphic with a list of mental health helplines for Mental Health Awareness Week. It includes: Mind: 0300 102 1234 (Open 9am–6pm weekdays) Samaritans: 116 123 (Always open) Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM): 0800 58 58 58 (Open 5pm–midnight) If you’re in Wales, CALL: 0800 132 737 (Always open) If you’re under 25, The Mix: Text THEMIX to 85258 (Always open) Text at the bottom says: “Share and save this post.”
