From reference to reality.
When I was prepping this spot I played Virtual Insanity on repeat in our house. My kids would dance around, jumping on the couch, slide across the floor like Jamiroquai. Still mind-blowing thirty years later.
I knew I had to try to make something similar. So we built a rotating set.
Larry June did the rest.
I got briefed on this project on Christmas Eve. I had Covid. We shot January 11.
The campaign was called Feel the Unreal for Nike x JD Sports.
Concepting over the holidays, pulling together a crew, and planning a production through New Years… honestly felt a little unreal.
