played hooky and flew to Raleigh for the day 🙈 season 2 of our hooky day trips are backkkk and this one is extra special bc it also kicked off my 50 state series, where I’m trying to visit all 50 states in 2026 we had the perfect day exploring @visitraleigh — the flights were only a little over an hour from NYC and it felt like a calm escape from the big city while still having plenty to do 👇🏽 🥕 visited the @savingthemarket 🌳 walked through @dixpark to see the new trolls 🍻 grabbed lunch at @brewerybhavana 🛍️ did a littleeee too much shopping at @thesocialstatus @unleashedcitymarket 🍺 sat on the patio at @crankarmbrew 🍗 got some Carolina BBQ at @thepitbbq 🍫 walked through @viderichocolate 🏙️ explored downtown and all of the local shops 🍸 ended with a little night cap at @themerchantnc it was a day veryyy well spent and now we want to go back for longe to explore more of the area! follow @themeldemi for more day trips & couples travel experiences
