🌱 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Connor Wrong 🌱
Tomorrow night we welcome the brilliant Connor Wrong to the Bad Room for their Level /
@goodroombk debut ~
Connor Wrong hails from Houston, where their training as a multi-instrumentalist in the classical and jazz traditions set the groundwork for their pan-genre approach to DJing and music production. The young DJ’s work centers on a psy grounded yet acoustically tinged take on techno, bass, electro, and house. The 22 year old has had a remarkably colorful artistic career, spending time creating soundtracks for labels such as Dion Lee, Marni, Vaquera, and Gucci before focusing their attention on the dancefloor.
Having released music under multiple names with projects spanning indie loop music, contemporary classical ambient, left field acoustic bass-step and classy psytrance. As Connor would put it, they’re crossy (genre-wise…). Their dance-centered productions have received support from dancefloor luminaries such as CCL, Succubass, and Sage Introspekt. Already a staple in the New York scene, Connor has held down slots at clubs such as Basement, Nowadays, Paragon, Bossa, and Elsewhere within their first few years as a DJ. Come to their Bad Room debut to see why.
