🔥BALZAC HAS JUST JOINED THIS LEGENDARY WEDNESDAY SHOW🔥 @balzac_prince_buster_forever
90’s Hawaii/Oakland Punk @thecapslive 🏁 with killer cumbia ska band @thehellasband
$15 online adv or cash at door / $20 card
About The Caps
Formed in mid-’90s Honolulu by Jay Paule, The Caps rose out of the “808 scene” as a defining force in Hawaii’s DIY punk movement. Blending ska-punk and surf-punk with a raw, grungy edge, they built their name through all-ages shows, school circuits, and iconic island venues.
After relocating to Oakland in 2000, the band sharpened their sound into a harder, East Bay–influenced attack—earning a reputation as relentless road warriors across clubs, warehouses, and underground circuits.
Now, after a long hiatus, The Caps are back—reignited by legacy shows in Honolulu and upcoming shows in California this spring.

It’s rare to find a band that fires on all cylinders, but Hellas Band just set a new gold standard. 🎸✨
My first time I honestly went into their set with no expectations, but I walked out completely inspired.
This wasn’t just another gig; it was one of those rare moments where the musicianship is so tight it feels effortless.
One minute you’re lost in these massive, atmospheric builds, and the next, they’re hitting you with those signature ska upbeat rhythms and riffs that cut straight through the room. They are genuinely operating on a different level right now. ⚡️🎹
The wall of sound they create is huge, but it’s that infectious ska energy and stage presence that really hooks you—you just can’t look away. Easily one of the most incredible, high-energy sets I’ve seen. The vibe in that room was pure electricity. 🔥🏁
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more Hellas shows from now on. If they’re heading your way, consider this your sign to grab a ticket—seriously, don’t miss it. 🎟️🔥🎸💨
👇 Drop a 🔥 if you’ve seen them live, or tag someone who needs to get on the Hellas music trip!
