Shooting with some of our extended family we have in the world of film.
This photo captures the essence of what we do - a talented crew working together, supporting each other, and creating something special.
It's the late-night shoots, the laughter, the challenges, and the dope work that connects us.
Here's to this incredible journey we're on together.
Cheers to the film family that's always got our backs!

A look behind-the-scenes at Cisco Newman, our Executive Producer, who is teaming up with Detroit-based Production Manager Karl Williams, on our latest project.
Two heads together are better than one on set!
Stay tuned to see what they are cooking.

#DidYouKnow that in a survey of the top 100 production companies, only 4% work with Black directors, and only 1% work with Black camera operators?
That’s why Executive Producers Adiclere Evans, John Lathan, and Cisco Newman founded The Funnel Creative, an award-winning video production company, in response to the lack of Black creative and crew representation in the entertainment industry.
To address these racial inequities and tell more Black-led stories, the goal of The Funnel Creative is clear: By 2030, The Funnel Creative will produce $100 million of television and film content utilizing Black creative talent behind the scenes.
The Funnel Creative utilizes a community of Black directors, creatives, talent, and crew who produce cutting-edge content for agencies, artists, and brands. Clients include Amazon, BET Networks, Carol H. Williams Advertising, Chevrolet, Comcast, Doritos, Leo Burnett, Paramount, The Kraft Heinz Company, Universal Music Group, Velocity, and Wingstop. To view our latest work, visit thefunnelcreative.com.
Thank you for following us, and we look forward to engaging in a conversation with you! #VideoProduction #Production #BlackCreatives

A Love Letter to my Daughter
A Salute to Black Fatherhood
Our Director, Eternal Polk created this short film in the spirit of fatherhood. This project with @visitnc was perfect, because his daughter is the reason he moved to North Carolina. Together Father and Daughter have created so many firsts!
Check out the film and go vote at visitnc.com! Link in bio.
Special thanks to the local crew in Charlotte you made this happen.

No one has a better take on the industry’s rush to court Black directors than the Execuitve Producers at Black-owned production houses. Yet for all the industry’s talk about DE&I initiatives, many feel they’re still not getting the same level of opportunity as others.
Simian reached out to the EPs at The Funnel Creative's Adiclere Evans, along with EPs from KUAMP, Mass Media Films, FELA and more to talk about the pressures they’re under, the challenges they’re facing and the way they’d like to be perceived. It’s an eye-opening read, and you’ll only find it on the Simian blog.

The Funnel Creative welcomes director Devkamera to our roster.
He was born and raised in the Philadelphia section of Pennsylvania.
He began directing in 2013 videos for his neighborhood friends and eventually locally in the city.
Through a fellow partner he linked with music video legend, and film director Benny Boom where he began working with him as an editor. While doing so, Benny took him on as an apprentice to help shape his film career.
