I just re-read Alajoota by Dr. Kaffy and this line wouldn’t let me be. There are so many other powerful words in the book – maybe I’ll do a book review (I actually do owe her that).
She meant dance. The body. The discipline. The breaking point on a stage most people will never see.
But it translates.
Because for creatives, it’s the same story, just a different canvas.
The almost-deleted drafts.
The ideas that go cold halfway through.
The quiet thought that maybe this isn’t it.
That edge… where it nearly ends?
That’s where the work starts telling the truth.

CREATIVE BLOCK | Day 24
We experience creative blocks every once in a while as creatives.
For me, when I start to experience a creative block, I just write. I write down everything that comes to mind and I try to make sense of everything, give it a storyline and in no time, I get my juice back.

Sometimes while most people are asleep, we’re still up.
These are the moments people don’t see.
The late nights, the tired eyes, the silent grind.
It’s not always loud.
It’s not always exciting.
But this is where the work is done.
Because sometimes, consistency looks like
showing up when nobody is watching.
