DAY 30 - The Power of Showing Up If you look at our feeds today versus 30 days ago, you won’t just see more posts. You’ll see more courage. During our last meeting where we reviewed Show Your Work by Austin Kleon, we didn’t want it to be just another “good conversation.” We wanted it to be the spark, we realized that keeping our work to ourselves was a disservice to the greatness God put inside us. So we made a pact: Show Up. Every day. For 30 days. This challenge wasn’t about the likes or the views. It was about proving to ourselves that we could be consistent. It was about finding inspiration in the “humble works-in-progress” of our peers. The beauty of this community @thevisualguild is that nobody had to walk this path alone. When the inspiration ran dry, we found it in each other. When the fear of judgment crept in, the community’s encouragement pushed it out. Today is Day 30. We are more confident, more disciplined, and more connected than when we started. The challenge might be over, but the habit has just begun. Keep showing your work. Day 30! | The end of a Beginning!🎉⚡ If we're being real, this month was a lot. It dragged me out of my comfort zone and forced me to confront my own excuses. And honestly? I needed that. I started this 30-day challenge because I wanted to express my creativity beyond just photos. What I didn't expect was how much it would teach me. I learned consistency without compromising excellence. But more than anything, I learned discipline. Showing up and doing the work even when the motivation was long gone. To the day-ones and the new faces who joined along the way, thank you. The likes, the shares, the energy… it made the heavy days so much lighter. I don't take any of it for granted. To my newly found community, THE VISUAL GUILD @thevisualguild , a huge thank you. I met genuinely wonderful people and connected with like-minded creatives who just get it. That alone made this worth it. And a very special shout-out to my boss @samuel.iroko Thank you for never giving up on us, for always checking in, for making sure we stayed consistent when it would've been easy not to. I posted every single day for 30 days straight… ( 29 actually, nepa 🤧😂) and man, I almost failed fr. Real talk — there were days I wanted to quit bad. Days my content looked weak, days I was tired, uninspired, and had zero motivation. I kept overthinking everything and almost skipped posting multiple times. Bu @thevisualguild community held me down heavy. They kept me accountable, motivated me on my lowest days, we got time to pray, talk track our goals, and pushed me to keep going even when I didn’t feel like it. Couldn’t have done this without you guys ❤️ Then one random video I dropped went viral out of nowhere. I didn’t even expect it lol. That single video brought me over 400+ new followers. One of the biggest lessons I learned: sometimes you just have to show up regardless. Even when the mood isn’t there, even when the content isn’t perfect just post. Consistency beats perfection every single time. This 30-day challenge taught me a lot about forcing myself to stay consistent, the real power of having the right community around you, and how one post can completely shift the momentum.
