Ife Re Po! I have seen the Lord’s goodness. Every first day of the month since the beginning of this year has come with its own story. While everyone was celebrating the new year, I was not in that space… I was sad. (Story for another day.) I can’t even remember February clearly. But March… while everyone was happy for the new month, I had just served over the weekend with Reverers and was on my way back to Lagos on Sunday morning. When I got to Oshodi, I realized I couldn’t find one of the phones with me. I was walking helplessly, tired, searching everywhere in Oshodi. And it wasn’t even my phone… the phone very very important. I was too tired to even cry. I just went home sad. Later that night, we got a call that someone had found it, we got it back. Then April 1st… while others were celebrating the new month, I was sad because I lost my own phone on March 31st. Nothing felt funny. I was just tired. Days later, I got another call… they found it. These are just the highlights. There are so many things I can’t even share right now. But one thing I know for sure is this: GOD WILL CROSS OCEANS SO I DON’T DROWN, I CANNOT DROWN! God has been too faithful. If I start sharing everything, you’ll understand what I mean when I say God has been faithful. I have seen His goodness in real time, and I am deeply grateful. And now… this May, God is still good. Happy First Sunday of the month.☺️

Yesterday, I was asked to talk about my journey as a Reverer, and I had a beautiful realization. The same month I began my journey as a storyteller is the same month Reverers started. Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown through this journey as a volunteer with The Reverers, and it’s truly amazing to witness. God really writes the most beautiful stories and mine is one of them. On this journey, a few things have shaped me deeply: the God factor, the skill factor, and the community factor. Each one has held me, stretched me, and helped me become. Now, this is me passing it forward. @the.reverers The Reverers is hosting a Photography Workshop on the 2nd of May, and I highly recommend it. @the.reverersworkshop If you’ve ever noticed someone around you who has a flair for capturing meaningful moments and desires to grow, please tell them about this. That boy or girl in your church who takes pictures with passion and wants more this is for them. Let them come. See you soon!
