Last week I had the pleasure of attending and speaking at the 4th ExcelerateHER Leadership Summit in Key Biscayne, Florida. My great friend and Sister in Prayer, Kim Blackwell who is the CEO and founder of PMM Agency, curated such a beautiful week filled with connection, sisterhood, wellness, business, and leadership. Every panel allowed you to learn about various industries, whether it was activism, AI, entrepreneurship, health, or leadership. This was such an amazing experience to have with great friends by my side, and to meet so many inspiring women was the highlight! It was a wonderful week of culture and celebration.
There were a number of amazing leaders in our community that we heard from like Kamala Harris, Cathy Hughes, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Bethann Hardison, Derrick Johnson, Rev. Cordelia Wallace, 2 Chainz, Rosalind Brewer, Governor Wes Moore and First Lady Dawn Moore, and the list goes ON! It was honor to speaking with Kim about leadership, love, faith, acceptance and legacy, and to have a lovely surprise from my great friends Simone Smith, Nina Cooper and Tonya Winfield where we discussed sisterhood and friendship.

What a weekend it’s been here in Miami for the F1 Miami Grand Prix! Last night we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club with Pat and Chris Riley, Lon and Laurie Rosen, and Stan and Helen Kasten. The fun carried right into today as we celebrated race day! It was great spending time with my friend and the GOAT of the NFL, Tom Brady, and former Google CEO and yacht owner Eric Schmidt, who owns “The Whisper,” the incredible yacht Cookie and I rent every year. And a huge congratulations to my business partner Mark Walter on his ownership of the new Cadillac F1 team 👏🏾

Cookie and I were blown away at last night’s premiere of Michael! We thought the movie was incredible and it gave us a chance to reminisce about what life was like when he was still with us. In my eyes, he’s the greatest entertainer of all time 👏🏾

It was a lovely afternoon of honoring motherhood, self expression and being inspired by the women that shape us. This was the perfect way to start celebrating Mother’s Day. This year’s Leading Women Defined Conference was absolutely wonderful these past few days!! My heart is so full after being in a room with such incredible women leading the way across so many industries. We really digested the theme, “Purpose finds peace. Peace finds purpose,” where we really embodied the idea of showing up, finding peace in motion, and uncovering how purpose and peace shape our experiences. It was so inspiring being amongst such amazing women and I loved every session and conversation we shared! Can’t wait to see what next year has in store for us!!! ✨🙏🏾🩷
