At the end of March, on a work trip to London, I decided to say yes to an invitation from the team at @kurtgeiger to visit their Business by Design Academy, an accredited school for young creatives with a lens on fashion. I was prepared to speak to the class just about what I do. My career as a publicist. But when I entered the room, the ancestors said, tell them who you ARE! With no notes, I simply spoke about the girl from Birchgrove, St. Andrew’s, Grenada. How love saved me and all about my favorite mantra. I quoted some of the words that moved me from others; Richard Lawson on dreams, Elaine Welteroth on expansion and my tennis coach in Grenada, Rich Hughes on believing in oneself. Thank you to all at Kurt Geiger and most of all to the students, who asked the best questions. There are so many great moments to share and I promise to do so over time. Knowledge is a gift to be shared. ♥️🇬🇧
