Can’t wait to open our doors for Ceramics South East 2026! It’s looking to be a fantastic line-up of ceramic artists and potters all based in either Kent, Sussex or Surrey.
We will be introducing you to all our exhibitors over the coming weeks but in the meantime, here’s a little peek.

In this five-week course, venture beyond the basics and grow your confidence with throwing.
This course is ideal for anyone who has learnt the basics of centering and throwing a cylinder and who wishes to broaden their skills and improve. Particularly suitable as a follow-up for anyone who has attended one of our Beginner Throwing courses.
We will concentrate on improving clay prep, throwing and trimming skills, work on consistency, repeating shapes and gaining confidence.
This course is led by Tim Fluck, and runs on consecutive Fridays for 3 hours each session.

Fun and games with glazing in our Monday morning class! Here’s Lara assisting Claire with glazing using a syringe, quite hilarious to do but wow, what fabulous results! Watch to the end for the big reveal.
What better way to spend a Sunday morning than by carving clay! Our Kurinuki Workshop is on Sunday morning 12th July and is led by Helen Ashton @helen.ceramics
Beginners and more experienced potters are equally welcome. Come and whittle a slab of clay and forget about the world for a few hours. 😌

Was an absolute pleasure to have Kate @katesemple with us on Saturday, leading the workshop Three Bottles: A Still Life.
Lovely atmosphere in the studio with our keen learners getting in the zone sketching out, then making their chosen shapes. So interesting to see the variety and interplay between each person’s trio.
Looking forward to seeing them all once fired and glazed.
From bears to birds, including the tiniest birdbath in the world (probably), plus a rather handsome rhino. Fabulous creatures by our creative potters! What’s not to love!
