On March 3rd, The Circle (@thecirclebk ) made its Brooklyn debut with a showcase presented by SoundFynd, marking the collective’s first-ever live event. The night was packed with music, featuring standout performances from Phil. (@philsgoodmusic ) and Hrlum (@hrlum ) whose sets pulled the crowd into spontaneous, immersive moments. The Circle founders and hosts Avangelia (@avangeliaa ) and Bobby Hall III (@bobbyhallthe3rd ) organized the event, sourced the talent, engineered the sound, and performed themselves to keep the show running smoothly at all times. The energy was vibrant. Guests from across the NYC metro area came to experience raw, improvisational music as artists from different cities and sonic backgrounds shared the stage in an unfiltered celebration of creativity that represents Brooklyn. Special thanks to the ever capable @mileskrieger_ , talent & bartender @vanessserr , the heart of the night @_thebandtba_ , flute maestro @keenynomari , @begetrare for the flyer, and of course the amazing @safa.wav from the SoundFynd team! FOUR FYNDS WITH AVANGELIA 🔍 The wonderful @avangeliaa , artist and co-founder of the Brooklyn music collective @thecirclebk , stopped by @loudmouthbk to pick some records that have inspired her over the years. From a modern R&B classic to soul staples, Avangelia spoke of how influential love songs and smooth ballads have been for her own takes on soul, folk, and alternative R&B in her music!
