Doing a liveset in a coffee shop? ✅
This one was kind of hella dope to do. Kind of just wanted to spend the day working on some music rather than wander the city. After a long hike from Potrero, stumbling into @_attril and talking about his MF DOOM mural, and enjoying the rainy streets, I found myself in a cozy little shop in Mission, @littlespotcafe .
Spent the morning and early afternoon drinking some coffee and finishing some WIPs. My favorite part though was the quiet moments where I got to chop it up with the shop owner on the rainy sidewalk. We talked about producer gear and history over some slow tokes. He told me how he used to compose music for video games, and then we discussed the beauty of DAWs and analog. When I say the Bay continues to be one of my favorite spots, it's because of moments like that.
After that exchange, I ordered a hot coffee, laid down the 404, set up the camera, and had some simple fun.

Tucker just wanted an encore 😂
Figured I'd start the New Year with one of my favorite trips last year. Spent the day walking through the city as it rained (ate shit going downhill and almost landed on my gear). When the rain started to let up for a little, I figured I'd head to Mission Dolores to get a dope little rainy day set to capture that Bay feeling. Also my first time recording myself in the wild rather than at home, so had to shake off people watching haha was hella fun to shoot and spent some time after talking to my man Tucker and his dude lol

It's been a minute, y'all.
As you're probably well aware, I've been playing a lot of @sessiongame in my downtime. Since they just launched 1.0, I figured why not celebrate with a little session of coffee sipping and slapping some skate shop stickers on the gear while playing. Pretty simple thing but thought I'd share with y'all the process of fitting stickers onto the faceplate.
Had to dig into my treasure box since I've been collecting from skateshops, record shops, and beatmakers over the years. From @coatofarmsnyc in Brooklyn to my local @overcastskateshop , I was looking to add some love to the 404 for awhile and let's be honest: skating and beats has always been my shindig.

Officially knocked year 1 of the Dirty Thirties out of the park this past Sunday.
I've been blessed in the past year to have grown. I released my first track in years, progressively advanced with how I present my art, met my internet buddies, collaborated with other wonderful artists, worked with cool brands and curators, and found time to pursue all of this at my own pace. On top of all of that, I've been even more blessed to have a wholesome support system of solid friends and a wonderful partner.
Life is a beautifully dope thing to partake in. Let's make Thirty One even better.

OSHEN by the ocean 🌊
This was hella fun, but had to be mad quick. Took a stroll through Outer Sunset to hit @andytownsf and try @hookfishco , went crate digging at @tunnelrecords and then snuck away to the Ocean Beach to shoot one last finished jazzy WIP. This time with a little creative help from my very much frozen @arielleeview as she maneuvered through cold wind and light oceam spray haha with the wind blowing, sands flying, and only a few takes before my fingers got numb, we were able to snag this beautiful set by the beach to cap off our last day in the Bay.

One of my goals for this year is to not only create more music, but also finish the tons of WIPs that have been stacking up in my project folders lol
This time last year, I put out a quick liveset created while watching a slew of @magentaskateboards videos. Making beats to skate videos is one of my favorite ways to just get lost and have fun. It also gets me in the mood to craft some downright nasty art. So I figured, what better way to start thew year with this new goal while watching their latest work, "Magenta Bay Branch". I'll probably share more WIPs from here on out haha
So here's a sneak peek at the finished product, which I'm looking to release later this year.

From IG to IRL, Hong Kong to LA, the boys finally got together. With a surprise appearance from the great @lamchop.mp3 haha been fortunate enough to create friendships with others in the community from all over the world. Wild to think we've been friends for almost four years through just social media and slowly but surely, we finally get to hang out for real.
