“Burning Dawn”

I had too much fun with this little piece.
It really just started cause I wanted to create a small painting showing a sun dog ,but ofcourse evolved into an appropriate reflection of internal experience.
Life feels wild lately. It has probably always been just as intense and novel for everyone but I feel incredibly privileged where I sit, all turmoil considered.
To the main point that I get to watch the sun rise everyday and I get the chance to choose to nourish or neglect the seeds of my own becoming for another day..
I don’t think I’ll ever be a good enough painter to properly convey the magnitude of celestial intelligence contained in the sun, but here’s a little love letter to the father.

“Soul Architecture // 1”

This was a fun little practice in some freehand stream of consciousness style symmetry from the other day.
This was made not in an “aligned” or particularly “high energy moment” more just a spur of the moment expression on a rather seemingly insignificant day.
A good reflection for me to remember that underlying every moment, no matter how mundane, no matter if you are angry, sad, excited, serene, or whatever you’re feeling.
Your subtle energy bodies are engaging in a beautifully chaotic and harmonious symphony of being. I hope I can bring this awareness into every moment and maybe not be so reactive I will try to make this an on going series every so often, in hopes to have some more affordable pieces for you guys to collect.

Another shot of “The Diamond Path” all framed up in White Oak
I centered this painting on the Vishvavajra, a sacred symbol of the diamond path in Vajrayana tradition. It represents the indestructible and unshakable nature of awakened clarity and compassion ,cutting through illusion in all directions of awareness.
At the heart center lies the Flower of Life, the seed of cosmic order. Painted in a warped perspective as to represent the cosmic womb from which all energy is birthed. Blending the rigid masculine beauty of the father back into the fluid omnipresent love of the mother.
From this point the four arms extend as gateways to the cardinal directions, commanding balance, protection, and allowing the infinite expansion of consciousness.

“The Diamond Path”

At the axis of silence
a cross of fire breathes.
Four gates, one center.
A map the mind cannot read.
As direction fades, a radiance blooms.
The diamond hums unbroken.
We have walked through shadow and flame,
shaping dreams from impermanence, all the while weaving grief and wonder
into the same trembling thread.
Our lives like rivers
carving their own disappearance into the mountain.
We rise.
We fall.
Some call this chaos,
but I hear the faint echo
of a beautiful song.
Every hesitation, every detour, every tender moment held beneath birth and ash
is another note in the hymn of becoming.
Some name it suffering, but beneath the surface inscribed in the flesh
is truth.
It is the friction that births the jewel.
The breaking that opens the heart.
The storm that clears the sky for stars.
We carry light into the dark
not by the vehicle of perfection, but by devotion.
Stumbling, singing, crying, screaming most times.
Yet endlessly returning to love.
The diamond path is not apart from you,
but cut through you.
Through your silent prayers in the small hours.
Through continuous devotion to the impossible light.
We are not weary.
We blaze for every face turned inward,
toward the still center.
Growing more radiant, more vast, more unbreakable upon the growing friction.
We are the path and the traveler both,
on and of the diamond road of love.

This piece was able to find a home before we left Denver, and is off to reside in an Ibogaine clinic in MX.
