Frameworks only work if they guide real behavior. SCOUTED is exactly that, because it was DESIGNED to be that. I had basic ideas of what I wanted, then I collided with @frameworkofintention and it became clearer. When MHCI team members (Titans) reflect clarity, ownership, and usefulness in their day-to-day, it proves that values + consistent action = results. It’s not just about work, it’s about living intentionally, thinking clearly, and creating impact that lasts. I have @annaekeledo for the prompt to share this framework more openly and every time team members find meaning in it, I know we are winning. Congrats on another week completed, I hope you’re winning too.⚡️🌻 #SCOUTED #IntentionalLiving #MHCI #ImpactCulture #CoCreation

In 2023 while designing the curriculum for @es_programme , I had a series of conversations with a number of Builders and Business Leaders. Understanding multiple perspectives to this challenge helped us build a solution that helps Business Owners and Leaders have more productive relationships with their Co-Creators. Context is everything and Osarumen’s question speaks to the heart of the problem. See the rest of my response in the video (link in bio and comments). Design Is Everything is my personal video podcast about the conceptual architecture of things. Side note: @es_programme Stream 9 begins this Wednesday (November 5th). Register your Executive Assistant (link in bio) or DM @es_programme to get matched with one from our Agency. #evaprogramme #executive #virtual #assistants #mhci #designiseverything #podcast

The most capable assistant in the room can still be the least useful one if they are not aligned with where their executive is headed. Alignment is not a soft concept. It is the difference between support that moves things forward and support that simply keeps things moving. One is strategic. The other is functional. Both have their place, but only one builds the kind of trust that expands your role over time. Session 1 of the Executive Support Programme, Stream 11, facilitated by @theaniezekiel , opened with exactly this question: do you actually understand the world your executive is operating in? Not the tasks. The direction. The stakes. The vision sitting behind everything they are asking you to do. That understanding is where real executive support begins.

Part 3: “SPIRIT”. Your spirit knows the way. In it sits truth, the power for authenticity, the strength for alignment and the anchor for focus. With each new uncertainty and the unpredictable nature of the world today, I have found sanctuary in the quintessential “knowingness” of my spirit. I have found others on this mission because their spirits resonated so clearly and unmistakably. I am unbothered by the anxiety that a lack of control or certainty brings because as long as you can’t break my spirit, I will find a way. I will be here tomorrow and if am not, I am satisfied that my mission has been both compelling and complete. The last few months have taught me to work the work of Him that sent me while it is day, because night comes when no man can work and it is an eventuality that we will all face. But until that last gasp, I push forward. On w foot in front of the other, everyday. Because my spirit knows the way, even when I don’t. Destined.

Part 2: “SON” “Spontaneous episode” was what the neurologists called it. From Nigeria to the UK, no one could tell what caused my world to be turned upside down. While people rejoiced and celebrated the turn of a new year, Chika and Ezekiel’s son couldn’t sit up or walk or hold meaningful conversation for any reasonable length of time. For 3 months, I was in and out of hospitals and Drs offices, doing more scans and tests than I had ever done in my entire life. At some point, I was on 10-15 rounds of medication every single day. I remember stumbling hazily out of Abuja airport, trying to get home. I suddenly felt someone hold me by the waist, steadying me. I looked to my left and it was my mum. I got into the car, lay on her lap and silently cried as we drove into town. It didn’t matter whose boss I was and what feats I had accomplished, I was reminded that I was a son again. This colossus of willful purpose-chasing was still someone’s child. Everyday after that, my dad and mum came into the room@at home, checking on me and doing what they could to cover me in love and support as we all figured our way around this strange affliction. It especially affected my maverick of a father in ways I never thought possible. This year, I re-learnt how to accept care and concern. I learnt to find gratitude in the embrace of family as their son. Mentors came to visit me at home- something they had hardly done, if ever. Because they saw me as a son of sorts. It was a little strange until I settled and accepted the role of the son. All of this, as well as my unique position of being the father to a son and the son to a father, reminded me of the strength and healing in accepting care. It reminded me of the ever-present and unyielding power of being covered by those who came before me. So here I am, renewed in both my understanding and my appreciation for being a son- loved, cared for, covered, guided. 📸: @monami_photos

Part 1: “FATHER”. Originator. Progenitor. Precursor. Custodian. The ideas of fatherhood and responsibility have circled my mind for many years, which is partly why legacy and history are strong thematic areas of interest and experience in my life. The Father knows what came before (history) and what informs tomorrow (destiny). The Father understands identity both as a present phenomenon and as a continuum. Why it is what it is, but also why it will be what it will be. Whether with children or with society, the Father is needed. The one who is responsible for. the one who produces the seed for. The one who guides and guards for. Today, I stand in the renewed remembrance of who I am and who I have been made to me- The Father. Destiny.

Most executives have had assistants who were capable on paper but never quite got it. They completed the tasks but never really engaged with the work. And over time, that gap, between someone who executes and someone who thinks with you, creates more friction than it relieves. @theaniezekiel has sat on both sides of that reality. As Founder of @mhciuniverse and the mind behind the ES Programme, he has experienced what support looks like when it falls short, and what it looks like when it does not. At our AMA session, he will be speaking to what co-creative support actually enables at the leadership level, and why the way assistants are trained is at the centre of the problem. This is the perspective the entire session is anchored around. Beyond Task Completion: When Support Becomes Co-Creation Tuesday, 14th April 2026 | 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM WAT | X Spaces Stream 11 applications are open now. Link in bio.

Last week in Uyo, we rounded up Phase 2 of our plan to be an organic example of Human Capital Innovation in Nigeria and Africa, starting from home- Akwa-Ibom State. The world is changing and wonderful things are on the horizon but we have to seize the opportunity and privilege to design our future. We kicked off Stream 9 of @es_programme because we know more builders need intentional and competent support to build out this future in all its ramifications. From speaking and sharing at @akwaibomtechweek to planning, designing and finally kicking off the Women’s Initiative in Technology (beginning with the Women in Technology Breakfast Roundtable hosted by the Office of the First Lady of Akwa-Ibom State and Golden Initiative For All (GIFA) ), the team at @mhciuniverse have shown that focus, value calibration and intentionality can produce real results for us on the continent. I am immesnely proud of the group, represented by the forces of nature that are @kanky_umana and @emem_iseh . Another significant milestone was finally witnessing the groundbreaking of the Federal Housing Authority Renewed Hope Estate on Airport Road, Uyo. As someone who 26 years ago had the privilege of witnessing how plans went from sketches to the most expensive piece of Real Estate in Uyo (Shelter Afrique Estate), I don’t take time perspective for granted in planning and positioning. In our lifetime, Nigeria will have the 3rd largest population on the planet and already has the largest youth workforce in Africa. The provision of infrastructure to support this talent class is key and the time to build it is now. This is why @housing4talent and @ibom_investment (ably represented by the President of IIC @zporah ) had to be at this groundbreaking. We’ve seen it happen before and Akwa-Ibom is primed yet again to play a big part in shaping the digital economy of Nigeria. This is why I moved back home and why I beckon to those of you who are ready to Co-Create the future: Home called. Home is calling. 2026 has begun and the future is bright. So many untold stories but results and outcomes are what matters. Witness US.
