You might have noticed that kind of disappeared from posting for a bit…. After releasing my debut album in March, experiencing SXSW as an official artist for the first time, then my dog honey passing away, I fell into a rut. 🥲
SXSW was such a HIGH & it confirmed that this is exactly what I was born to do. But having a small taste of the life I truly envision for myself then going back to reality without my companion of 13 years made me feel like I am so close to everything I want yet still so far from it. The fact that I’m in my 30’s still pursuing all my dreams; I have to remind myself that I’m not behind; everything happens for a reason & God’s timing is perfect.
So yes. I’m falling in love with the magic of every day. I’m letting go of the attachments to a specific outcome and any expectations for the project. Bringing an idea, my concept, a full vision to the finish line is a spiritual & sacred experience & regardless, I am proud of myself for committing to a goal & executing it. I am already living the dream!!! I get to play & create music every day. Anything else is just a bonus at this point.
