I had the incredible opportunity to be on set with a renowned director, @joshuakissi and it was a truly memorable experience. As is my usual routine, I arrived on set early to touch base with the Director and the Director of Photography (DOP), something I always look forward to on every project. Having worked with the DOP previously, I felt a sense of familiarity as I walked onto the set.
Immediately, I could sense the director’s presence, which is a vital element in filmmaking. The first thing I noticed was his confident demeanor and professional appearance. Soon after, I was introduced to the director by @danielattoh_ and it wasn’t long before FEDWORKS stopped by to say hello, asking if I’d met the director. When I replied that Dan had introduced us, Fed showed me his phone, revealing his impressive portfolio. I was blown away by his work, which resonated deeply with me, as I’d been aspiring to achieve similar results in my own photography.
This chance encounter was a poignant reminder of the importance of being open to new experiences and connections in my journey as a filmmaker. I’d also like to express my gratitude for the 3R’s, whose insights were invaluable. Listening to you share your journey was a pivotal moment for me that morning, and I appreciate the wisdom shared. Thank you for the opportunity to meet you; it was an honor.
And yeah, I wouldn’t forget how shy I was when @fedworks was telling me about your works, he knew that and kept saying to me to make sure that I meet you properly. He instilled the confidence even if I wasn’t so sure of what the outcome could be. Thank You, FED !
Big Fish ✨
This is one of my favorite work yet. Not because of the shots or composition but majorly because of the memories and stories that were unfolded from this.
But yeah, I love the shots.
Also realizing that, it’s never too late to post your work but don’t make it a habit like I did. I’m trying to change. I believe so. 😉
Happy Sunday ! ☺️
Beyond the skill of storytelling is the art of storytelling presentation.
The amazing Halimah @theagbajehalimah did justice to this breakout session on VISUAL DESIGN OF CREATIVE STORYTELLING. If it’s an art, then it can be learned.
She gave practical frameworks, answered as many questions and provided clarity on how to get started.

I’ve been working with Limoblaze for a while now, and every project we’ve done together has taken me a level higher. But this one felt different… definitely not something I take for granted.
Being in the studio with Limo, getting those live performances firsthand? Yeah, that was a flex. ☺️ What started as a client relationship has grown into a real friendship.
I’ve had the privilege of working with so many incredible people, but working with Limo has taught me on a whole new level.
Here’s to more, LIMOBLAZE! 🥂

Hello Lovers ! 💛. Our Mini talk is back. 💃
The video is the caption.
To have these amazing people in my life is such a privilege. ✨
Let me know what you’ve been learning and you can also tag who you’ve been learning from lately.
One other thing is let your learnings also equate with your output. It is very essential for a complete growth.
Okay ! Love Y’all ! 🤭
THIRD BREAKOUT FACILITATOR REVEAL
Not every story is told with words.
Some are captured. Framed. Felt.
Meet Agbaje Halimah - our third breakout facilitator at SSA Bootcamp 3.0 - Lagos Edition.
A visual storyteller working at the intersection of culture and creativity, she understands how powerful it is to not just create… but to see.
In her session, expect a shift in how you approach storytelling - beyond scripts, into perspective, detail, and meaning.
Because how you see… shapes what you create.
Be in the room.

Takwa Bay ! In Two’s or More !
While I was dusting my feet in the overpowering sands of Takwa bay, I heard Fedworks asked a question, what does Takwa Bay mean ?
I thought of it for few seconds while also scanning my brain if I’ve heard or read something as such but the result was Nope. I had no idea or information about Takwa Bay.
But Takwa Bay gave me memories. She made me picture of people and things in TWO’s. So, if you keep swiping, you’d see a lot of shots with two characters. I didn’t want to capture one character, one frame. I wanted to have more and it was so easy that they were actually doing that most of the time. I didn’t understand it but God taught me a lesson in that in which I may share some other time.
While I was walking around to take pictures, I studied the children in the water. I learnt how they were beating through exhaustion. It was a calming moment for me. Whenever you see them outside to come pick up their boards, I’d hear the way they gasped for air, I could tell they were tired but once the board was picked, they were back into the water. What an Experience. I know it could be fun but sometimes, fun is tiring.
Then, I knew it was more than fun, this was more than curiosity. The length to which we can push things through is mind blowing to me. I want to learn that. I want to do that.
But, I also might need to learn this with Two’s or more. So, I called back Oasis Tribe again. I’ve found them again and we are taking steps again with God.
So, yeah, learn to do things with Two’s and More. Bye.
These images are personal to me. I hope it reaches you the same way. ✨
Photography wasn’t on my radar but photography has now become one of the lens through which I see the greatest and minute part of my being. ✨
Thank you @adewoye.od for inviting me to share my experience. A big shout out to @lenslightmotion for putting all these together !
Sharing my experiences on cinematography and photography made me realize how much I actually enjoy this part of my life. I didn’t realize that I knew that much. Goodness! For years, I have consumed a lot, learnt a lot, but has not really done a lot. So, let’s say, this could be a start of something different.
I believe I enjoyed the class more than everyone else. I ministered to myself first. Yes I did ! ☺️
Thank you @samiroks_visuals for taking these amazing pictures. 😊
Love and Be loved. 💛
