One year ago I decided to create this deeply personal, challenging, and vulnerable short film and this past weekend we filmed it. To say it was the best filming experience I’ve ever had, to say it was the best team I’ve ever had, to say it was the most emotional process, it would all be an understatement. I can’t begin to express how excited I am, and how grateful I am to everyone involved and everyone who gave to make this happen! Thank you. And thank you to my Bubbie, who the film is based off of and who is no longer with us, I hope I captured your spirit, wit, and heart.

April 26, 2025 - One year ago today was one of our most special and cherished memories. We laughed, cried, danced, celebrated, and recited our vows to one another and in front of all of our special people. Every single day as a married couple gets even better if you can imagine, and we could not be happier looking back on these very fond memories that we’ll carry with us for a lifetime. This all started with a question, how do you build a new world and when you’re so broken? Each day, that question feels more prophetic. Which is why we had to tell this story and why have been working so hard for everyone to see it.
It’s been a little over a year since we wrapped shooting, and after a lot of long nights of inspiration, panic, and uncertainty, we’ve come out the other side and I am now beyond thrilled to announce the film is now complete!
