It’s a magical day!! We saw the world premiere (even though he claimed it was just the West Coast premiere) of Dire Duplicity at the @ifs.film.festival ! The most recent film of the man, the myth, the legend, NEIL BREEN!
@oedeworld is a legend. He made, Jimmy Neutron, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and one of the funniest movies of all time: Kung Pow! Enter the Fist. (It is absolutely one of the funniest, I will die on that hill).
Getting to meet him was incredible. Unfortunately he didn’t punch my stomach out into one clean junk, but hopefully next time!
We’re excited to introduce the new Dolphins fight song for this season! Co-starring @thatonemike as your average Dolphins fan! #dolphins #miamidolphins #finsup
Getting to meet Ed Cunningham, the man who produced The King of Kong, was incredible. It is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I probably watch it at least once a year.
I told him how much the movie meant to me, and he gave me some behind the scenes info about the film I never knew before. He was one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
Not only was he there, Billy Mitchell, Walter Day, Steve Sanders, and Roy Shildt were there also. It felt like somebody knocked me out, and I woke up in the middle of the documentary, experiencing it in real time. I was ready to go around telling people a Donkey Kong killscreen was coming up. It was a wild fever dream. All of them were just as nice, and just as easy and fun to talk to.
The reason they were there was because Ed just released a pseudo follow up to The King of Kong called @arcadesandlovesongs which follows Walter Day’s music career, after he gave up being a video game referee. It’s really good, and it’s awesome seeing all these same people years later.
Before I leave though, just so you know, there’s a Donkey Kong killscreen coming up if anybody wants to watch!
