Very honored to share that I'm a Jerome Hill Artists Fellow 2025-2028:) Dance has been my life's joy for so long and I'm so grateful for the ways it has continued to move me. It's not an easy life, but it's a full one. A constant practice of listening and sharing. Thank you to the panel, staff, and board at the Jerome Foundation for seeing me and the potential for what's ahead. Thank you to the many artists I've gotten to work with and been influenced by who have helped me get here. Congrats to all the other fellows! Excited to keep going 🫶🏽
"Jerome Foundation seeks to serve artists who take creative risks in exploring, expanding, imagining, or re-imagining creative practices and experiences; reclaiming or reviving traditional forms in original ways; and/or questioning, challenging, or disrupting cultural norms. This three-year Fellowship supports artists who embrace their roles as part of a larger community of artists and citizens, and who consciously work with a sense of service and responsibility."

Had the honor of making a new work for @arenadances the past two weeks in Minneapolis. I'm always thankful for these chances to be as intuitive as possible in short amounts of time. Also to absorb the geography, culture, and atmosphere of a new place. The work carries a lot of charge, but also asks for salvation. I'm so proud of what we were able to create.
DOGMA will premiere this weekend in Minneapolis, April 17th and 18th at @luminaryartscenter for Arena's Spring Show. Thank you @arenadances for this opportunity and to the dancers for bringing so much life to the work ❤️🔥 @ni_amez@sar.mccullough@alex.j.arce
A @metopera debut!
So grateful to be a part of this production of Tristan und Isolde under the passionate and optimistic direction of @yuvalsharon_nyc .
Thank you @anniebparson for inviting me into this and for your warming leadership. Thank you @lizdement for holding us every step of the way as well as @wingedviolet ❤️🔥 Love this cast and looking forward to the remaining shows.

Being nominated for "Outstanding Breakout Choreographer" was the win in itself. As a person who is always thinking "I have more work to do", it was beautiful to lift my head and celebrate what these past 10 years in New York have been. Thank you to the @bessieawards committee for the nomination and for seeing me and my work. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees❤️🔥 Excited to keep going
I've had the pleasure of making this new work with students at @slcdanceprogram this semester. It wrestles in identity, the complicated nature of self realization, and the simplicity of being. It's funny, playful, dramatic, rhythmic, even beautifully chaotic at times. An exercise of intuition.
"wale, wail, whale" premieres next week, Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10th. 7:30pm in the Bessie Schömberg Dance Theater at Sarah Lawrence College✨
Tickets are free. Link in bio
I was leaving rehearsal at @slcdanceprogram (ironically in the Bessie Shonberg Dance Theater) when I got a text from @jacobypruitt saying "CONGRATULATIONS!" and I'm like for what?? 😭😭
Very honored to be nominated for Outstanding Breakout Choreographer 2024-25! Made my first dance at 16 and have been in love with it since. Through the questioning, listening, trying, and doing, I'm happy to be seen💗 Thank you to the @bessieawards committee and to everyone who has been supportive in this journey. Happy to share this nomination with some fire makers including my girl @anhqvo !
Morning Class: Being Alive
Mondays, 10am-12pm at Movement Research @movementresearch
Upcoming dates:
October 6
October 20
November 10
November 17
December 1
“Being Alive” explores aliveness as a practice of appreciation, sensitivity, and wholeness. We will engage with dance as an experiential form that examines the articulation of the body and its ability to listen and make decisions. The class works through a vast range of movements, sensations, and embodiments inside of both improvisation and set material. The material will vary in rhythm, dynamic, and speed while also inviting imagination and fiction as a space for possibility. “Being Alive” uses resourcefulness as a tool for recognizing the life that already exists— the life we are living in this moment, and the life we want to create in the future.
