Memories from May 10, 2025 - Testing (35m2)
After every project we are left wondering where this train is taking us, but the joy of the process overshadows the pain of the unknown - so we shut up and continue.

Testing[Home] - Full set link in bio
An audiovisual concert at @hayartculturalcentre – had been in discussion for about a year before coming to life through the collaborative efforts of Davit Petrosyan (also performing under his alias @yourfrienddaao ), Karen Ayvazyan @karayvazovsky , a motion designer and VFX artist), and Karen Hovhannisyan @artetaas (founder of @kap.community ).
Testing[Home] was an attempt to push the limits of our understanding and creative capabilities. Despite its flaws and experimental nature, the project taught us a great deal and laid the foundation for future collaborations.
Special thanks to Gevorg Elmasakyan @elmasakyan for operating the cameras and capturing the event , @robin_van_cox for the set design and the @hayartculturalcentre for allowing us to organize and present the performance.
TESTING (35M2) - Registration link bio
This time, things will be a bit different as we move from Casa da Esperança to 35M2, where the floor can actually hold us dancing. For that special occasion, we have a lineup of guys who’ve been playing soulful music for a long time already. On May 10, you’ll have a beautiful setup in a studio you’ve most probably never been to before. Come early, stay long.
Lineup
Playboi Zuka: 7:30 – 8:30
Razallax: 8:30 – 10:00
Savda b2b Yu: 10:00 – 12:00
Your friend daao: 12:00 – 02:00
!IMPORTANT!
We have only 50 spots available, so please register before coming, as we’ll be checking the list at the door. If you’re bringing a friend, make sure they register too—we won’t be able to accept anyone who’s not on the list.
See ya!
It took at least a month to conceptualize the project and begin the realization process after our first conversation and decision to move forward with @karayvazovsky and @artetaas .
The central theme of the project became the concept of @testing.evrthng and its experimental nature. One thing we were sure of was that we wanted to create an audiovisual concert. What we weren’t sure of was why—and that uncertainty became the project’s core. Testing tied everything together, as we wanted to experiment and see where it could lead.
Since then, we’ve gone through countless design iterations, trying to communicate what the project is about. I became obsessed with designing and imagining too many ideas—including the physical ticket, which we thought would be a cool addition. It was an exciting and chaotic process, but bringing this event to life was incredibly fun.
After two testing music listening sessions at Casa da Esperança, Testing [Session] is shifting from an idea to a continuous gathering. We are not sure of its destination, but the ride feels nice so far. It feels warm, and it smells like life—full of memories, adventures, beautiful connections, and hardships yet to come. Currently, [Sessions] are about music and also about small DIY exhibitions.
These photos, taken by @yoannannie , are from August 24 and December 12, and they are for all of us who love to remember and enjoy Testing [Memories].
See you around,
Testing [Everything]
