A peek at what it looks like when a group of founders in London show up to hold space for each other... Last week we curated a room of honest, open, deeply thoughtful minds, sharing not just the wins, but the weight that come with it, we chatted life, parenting, marriage, loneliness, societal expectations, legal battles, raising capital, building while carrying everything else. Think everything that shape us as founders but often rarely has a place to land. Nothing was off the table. And that honesty changed the energy in the room. The Founders Mind was a space where every founder could speak from their lived experience, not from performance, a space where the inner journey was finally allowed to exist alongside the business one 💛 Special THANKS to @plexalcity for powering this experience and gifting our founders a 7-day workspace trial and to @tenworksorg for standing with us in telling founder stories with depth and truth. This is what building in alignment feels like 🙌 #FoundersMind #AloYou #MentalMastery #FounderEnergy #HighPerformingMinds #BuildInDepth #CreativeFounders

Still taking it all in from Wednesday… 🥹 I honestly don’t have the words yet - but I didn’t want another day to go by without saying THANK YOU. On Wednesday evening, a group of founders all left their work desks/busy meetings for a private and very human conversation about the emotional and mental side of building a business powered by Plexal. Zero performance. Zero pretending. Just honesty, depth, and presence. And it was… beautiful! The level of openness, vulnerability, and generosity in that room was unlike anything I’ve seen in a long time, so many founders said it felt like therapy, a moment to finally breathe, reflect, and be seen beyond the metrics and milestones. To everyone who came out despite the busiest season of the year… thank you 🙏 Your voices, your stories, and your courage made the room what it was and will definitely contribute to shaping @aloyouapp To @plexalcity - thank you for opening your doors, championing this conversation, and making the evening feel so seamless and safe. ❤️ To TEN Works , thank you for collaborating on something so meaningful - and for your commitment to highlighting the real journey of founders. And to every founder who contributed, shared, held space, or simply sat in the room with intention… you reminded me why this matters - Amardeep Parmar, Serkan Ferah, Sophie McGrath, Riannon Palmer, Danielle Wallington, Rebecca 🦩 Leppard, Dorcas Efayena, Freya Hickman, Eda Yazar, I’ll be sharing more reflections and feedback from the evening soon, but here’s one handwritten note that really stayed with me. (I will post it in the comments) If you’d love to be part of the next private conversation like this - comment below or send me a message. We don’t know if or when the next one will be yet… but I have a feeling this is the beginning of something important. Grateful 🙏

I’m honestly so excited (and a little bit in awe) that this is finally happening😊 The Founder’s Mind, a private gathering on the emotional and human side of building a company. What started as a small idea has turned into a beautiful room of founders coming together with so much heart, honesty, openness and generosity, I cannot explain how deeply I’ve enjoyed curating this space - reaching out to people I’ve admired from afar, connecting human-to-human, and seeing how many founders genuinely want to show up, not just as CEOs, but as people! I’m grateful for every single founder who said yes to being part of this conversation, the lineup is incredible and there are so many more joining us this evening whose stories and presence will make the space even more meaningful. A huge thank you to @plexalcity for powering this gathering and opening their doors for such a vulnerable, important conversation 💛 , and thank you to @tenworksorg for championing the storytelling, humanity and lived reality of founders in such an intentional way. 🙌 I truly can’t wait to spend the evening together, grounding, reflecting, sharing, learning, and remembering that behind every product, every pitch, every milestone… there is a person with a mind, a story and a journey. Here’s to creating spaces where founders can breathe, be honest, and be human 🥂

As we get ready for Wednesday, I’ve been thinking a lot about how sensitive it is to talk about mental health as a founder… 🙂 For many entrepreneurs, speaking openly about the emotional + human experience of building is still seen as “risky.” Risky to your image. Risky to investors. Risky to how people perceive your capacity or stability. But the reality is 👇 As Founders we are human first, and the cost of silence has become too heavy for too many people building in isolation which is why I’m genuinely so grateful that @plexalcity opened their doors to host a private, invitation-only gathering for selected founders to have this conversation safely and honestly. Special thanks to the CEO Andrew Roughan who has encouraged such culture and the amazing David Clayton and team for believing in my idea for this.🙏 No panels. No performances. Just founders being human with founders. Ahead of the event, I’m sharing a few of the brilliant founders who have kindly given permission for their participation to be shared publicly: Sophie McGrath, Sandra Adu, MPhil, Rebecca 🦩 Leppard, Eda Yazar - please go follow these incredible founders if you haven’t yet. The rest of the room will remain private, and their stories held with care. I can’t wait for Wednesday. This already feels like one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever put together. cc: @tenworksorg
