Most people only see the highlight. The wins. The numbers. The headlines. But behind every founder… there’s pressure, fear, uncertainty and the quiet decision to keep going anyway. This is what that really looks like. THE FOUNDERS Real journeys. Real builders. Coming soon!

MEGA Congratulations to the Nigerian Idol team as they snag another AMVCA Award for Best Unscripted M-Net Original 🏆 Two years. Two wins. One standard of excellence. Early-stage startups don’t need “departments.” They need three forces. If one is missing, everything slows down, or breaks. This clip explains it cleanly. Videos credit: @build3.startupstudio #startups #entrepreneurship #tenworks

Everybody wants results. Not everybody wants to understand the process. That’s the difference. While others chase “what’s hot,” real builders are mastering their craft from A to Z just like Aliko Dangote said. Focus. Consistency. Depth. That’s how empires are built. There’s a level of focus most people talk about… but very few actually live. Bryan Johnson calls it “monk mode” cutting out the noise, the distractions, the comfort… and choosing discipline over everything. Because the truth is: Success rarely comes from doing more. It comes from doing less, but with obsession, clarity, and intention. In a world that rewards attention, the real winners are the ones who learn how to protect it. This is your reminder: Lock in ✅ Stay consistent ✅ Build in silence ✅ Let the results make the noise. Video credit: @businessinsider

Branding isn’t what you say, it’s what people experience. Values show up in the small things, daily delivery, how you treat customers, and whether your word means anything. When you’re small, your habits are your future, and if you cut corners early, you’ll pay for it later, because trust compounds. We are proud to see work led by Dr. Sulaiman Kassim receive two nominations at this year’s @africamagic Viewers’ Choice Awards through Nigerian Idol, including a return to the Best Unscripted category following last year’s win. It is always encouraging to see consistent work recognised, especially when so much of what makes it possible happens quietly, the discipline, the long hours, the shared effort, and the commitment to getting it right over time. Here at TEN Works, we believe that excellence is rarely accidental. It is built patiently, sustained intentionally, and strengthened through people who care deeply about what they are building. Congratulations to every team behind the nominations. Moments like this remind us why the work matters 👏

Africa’s next generation of entrepreneurs does not lack ideas, what many need is structure, access, and long-term strategic support. That conviction is part of why TEN Works exists. Grateful to see this captured in a recent feature of our Founder Dr. Sulaiman Kassim by @thisdayliveofficial on the importance of building platforms that help founders grow sustainably across the continent. Our team believes the future will be shaped by entrepreneurs who are given the right support early enough to scale well. I’m honestly so excited (and a little bit in awe) that this is finally happening😊 The Founder’s Mind, a private gathering on the emotional and human side of building a company. What started as a small idea has turned into a beautiful room of founders coming together with so much heart, honesty, openness and generosity, I cannot explain how deeply I’ve enjoyed curating this space - reaching out to people I’ve admired from afar, connecting human-to-human, and seeing how many founders genuinely want to show up, not just as CEOs, but as people! I’m grateful for every single founder who said yes to being part of this conversation, the lineup is incredible and there are so many more joining us this evening whose stories and presence will make the space even more meaningful. A huge thank you to @plexalcity for powering this gathering and opening their doors for such a vulnerable, important conversation 💛 , and thank you to @tenworksorg for championing the storytelling, humanity and lived reality of founders in such an intentional way. 🙌 I truly can’t wait to spend the evening together, grounding, reflecting, sharing, learning, and remembering that behind every product, every pitch, every milestone… there is a person with a mind, a story and a journey. Here’s to creating spaces where founders can breathe, be honest, and be human 🥂

Today, we share the story behind TEN Works - a platform built from real experiences, real struggles, real young people of Africa, and a Founder who learned early what true sustainable support looks like for a continent. Sustainability - Structure - Support - Guidance - Community. TEN Works was born from a simple truth: Africa’s young creators do not lack talent, they lack the structure, mentorship, funding, visibility, and pathway to turn that talent into real businesses. We are here to change that… TEN Works exists to help creators rise from Zero to TEN and build the next generation of African entrepreneurs, founders, and industry leaders. If you have an innovative idea, or you believe in supporting the future of African entrepreneurship, we invite you to join us. This is where creators become founders. This is where Africa rises together. Welcome to TEN Works! 🚀 #Africa #entrepreneurship #ecosystem

As we get ready for Wednesday, I’ve been thinking a lot about how sensitive it is to talk about mental health as a founder… 🙂 For many entrepreneurs, speaking openly about the emotional + human experience of building is still seen as “risky.” Risky to your image. Risky to investors. Risky to how people perceive your capacity or stability. But the reality is 👇 As Founders we are human first, and the cost of silence has become too heavy for too many people building in isolation which is why I’m genuinely so grateful that @plexalcity opened their doors to host a private, invitation-only gathering for selected founders to have this conversation safely and honestly. Special thanks to the CEO Andrew Roughan who has encouraged such culture and the amazing David Clayton and team for believing in my idea for this.🙏 No panels. No performances. Just founders being human with founders. Ahead of the event, I’m sharing a few of the brilliant founders who have kindly given permission for their participation to be shared publicly: Sophie McGrath, Sandra Adu, MPhil, Rebecca 🦩 Leppard, Eda Yazar - please go follow these incredible founders if you haven’t yet. The rest of the room will remain private, and their stories held with care. I can’t wait for Wednesday. This already feels like one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever put together. cc: @tenworksorg
