I’m honestly so excited (and a little bit in awe) that this is finally happening😊 The Founder’s Mind, a private gathering on the emotional and human side of building a company. What started as a small idea has turned into a beautiful room of founders coming together with so much heart, honesty, openness and generosity, I cannot explain how deeply I’ve enjoyed curating this space - reaching out to people I’ve admired from afar, connecting human-to-human, and seeing how many founders genuinely want to show up, not just as CEOs, but as people! As we get ready for Wednesday, I’ve been thinking a lot about how sensitive it is to talk about mental health as a founder… 🙂 For many entrepreneurs, speaking openly about the emotional + human experience of building is still seen as “risky.” Risky to your image. Risky to investors. Risky to how people perceive your capacity or stability. But the reality is 👇 As Founders we are human first, and the cost of silence has become too heavy for too many people building in isolation which is why I’m genuinely so grateful that @plexalcity opened their doors to host a private, invitation-only gathering for selected founders to have this conversation safely and honestly. Special thanks to the CEO Andrew Roughan who has encouraged such culture and the amazing David Clayton and team for believing in my idea for this.🙏 No panels. No performances. Just founders being human with founders.
