🎶 藝人簡介：Ted Lo
Ted Lo的名字，本身就是一部香港爵士樂的活歷史。1976年，他成為首位從美國伯克利音樂學院畢業的華人學生。七十年代末移居紐約後，他與Astrud Gilberto、Ron Carter、Herbie Hancock等爵士巨匠並肩演出，足迹遍及藍調之音、好萊塢碗等傳奇場館，並登上北海、紐波特、蒙特勒等世界頂級爵士音樂節。1996年回港後，他更將深厚的爵士底蘊注入本地流行音樂，與陳奕迅、林憶蓮、張學友等無數巨星合作，成為連接香港爵士與流行樂壇的關鍵人物。他多年來致力推動本地爵士教育，啟發了無數後輩。

Ted 喺上年2025年 年中就進行左一連八站嘅中國巡演。佢一直都想可以喺香港演出返一次呢個巡演入邊嘅音樂內容。今次難得可以重演，佢自己都話好期待。
而對爵士樂有多少少認識嘅各位都應該知道，一個組合玩得越耐，佢哋嘅默契程度就會越高，演出亦都會越精彩。今次，佢帶嚟近年經常出現嘅樂手陣容 (Nelson Fung on Bass; Dean Li on Drum)，希望以頂級嘅默契可以帶俾觀眾火花四濺嘅音樂。

Pekka Pylkkänen 出生於 1964 年，是享譽國際的芬蘭薩克斯風演奏家與作曲家，被譽為歐洲當代最具影響力的爵士藝術家之一。其演藝生涯橫跨全球 70 多個國家，演出場次超過 2,500 場，並多次受邀於香港、北京、哥本哈根及橫濱等大型國際爵士音樂節擔任主打嘉賓。
Pekka 曾任芬蘭國家爵士樂團（UMO）獨奏家，作品如《Opaque》及 2022 年發行的最新專輯均備受業界好評。除演奏成就外，他亦是一位資深教育家，曾於全球逾 80 所音樂院校舉行大師班。憑藉對爵士樂與文化推廣的卓越貢獻，他先後榮獲紐約 IAJE 獎及瑞士 Moods Jazz Award 等多項國際殊榮。
Born in 1964, Pekka Pylkkänen is a globally renowned Finnish saxophonist and composer, recognized as one of Europe‘s most influential jazz artists. Over a career spanning more than 2,500 concerts across 70 countries, he has headlined major international stages, including the Hong Kong, Beijing, and Copenhagen Jazz Festivals.
A former soloist with the National Jazz Orchestra of Finland (UMO), Pekka’s discography includes acclaimed albums like Opaque and his latest 2022 release with Eric Ineke under Challenge Records. Beyond performing, he is a distinguished educator and Artist-In-Residence, having conducted masterclasses at over 80 music universities worldwide. His contributions to music and culture have earned him prestigious honors, including the IAJE Award (New York) and the Moods Jazz Award (Switzerland).

After a full season of art tech showcases, Jazz Society rounds off the final month of our venue partnership with East Kowloon Cultural Centre with something closer to the heart — a night of pure jazz nestled in the Kowloon Bay neighbourhood.
