An album of gnashing wraiths and eerie ambience, this combination of dirty earthen metal rawness and floating astral rock evokes a phantasmal apparition of ancient spirits of black metal. Eschewing the confines of the genre, Endless Turmoil rolls like a frozen fog across the neighbouring lands of curiously well-meshed influences, swallowing them into its vaporous procession of heady rhythms and transportive atmosphere.
As you will have noticed, the album is adorned with some remarkable artwork, hand-painted by Heavy J, sign painter from Accra, Ghana, created in collaboration with Chicago-based @deadlypreygallery . You can feel the tangible paint and visions gone into creating this piece, and it has the instant mysterious charm of digging out the unknown from a dusty corner of a vintage record shop.
