Team Switchback Spicy and Mild rides are back in less than two weeks!
We’ll be running these every other Thursday between Memorial Day and Labor Day (alternating weeks with the shop ride). Similar format to last year, rides leave Switchback at 6:30.
Mild is a no drop party pace ride, somewhere around 15 miles.
Spicy rides are an opportunity to turn up the heat. 20-30 miles, faster pace, variable surfaces, plenty of chances to push yourself. A friendly drop ride.
More answers for your questions about the Luminary Bike Ride! Will there be beer? Yes! Will there be snacks? Also yes! 🍿 Will we learn how a dog would wear a pair of pants? We're actually not sure on that one, but you can help us decide! 🐕
All proceeds from drink sales AND tips go directly to @grandrapidspitbullalliance 's Veterinary Assistance Fund to provide emergency life-saving care and basic wellness services for pets of families in our community facing financial hardship. Keeping pets with their families. ❤️
Can't make the ride? No problem. The parking garage top deck post-ride celebration is open to all cyclists, animal-lovers, music buffs, craft brew fanatics, movie popcorn snackers, and of course: winter enthusiasts! Warm up with some hot cocoa, grab a beverage, stay for the tunes, a good cause, and the fun. ❄️

Last weekend we got together for our end of year team party. It was filled with all the shenanigans and laughter we love sharing on bikes. We also spent time reflecting on the year and setting intentions how we want to continue supporting each other and our community.
We’re stoked about 2026 and this silly group of humans. We’ll be doubling down on some new things we tried this year, and have some more new wacky ideas we’re looking forward to trying out. Thanks to everyone that has shared the stoke and to our awesome community partners for their support in helping make this all happen. Looking forward to continue sharing the love for bikes with you all. @goswitchback@atomicobject@crestongr@velocityusa@essuniversal@urban_massagegram
First annual Camp Team Switchback brought everyone’s families together for a dreamy fall weekend of riding, fishing, feasting and goofin. Hands down our favorite thing about bikes is how they bring people together. This was a good one of those.

We’ll talking about mindset, pacing, nutrition, equipment, drop bag/sag logistics, even those damn checkpoints. Bring your questions and maybe a camp chair.
As the summer winds down, the Team led Mild/Spicy rides are coming to a close. Come on out this Thursday, weather looks amazing. Rides leave @goswitchback at 6:30pm.
Matt is leading a Mild route down to Millennium Park with some added nice touches. Lucas will be leading out another rip of “The Classic” for the spicy route. See the annotated map (👉) for some designated Spicy Sectors.
Spicy/Mild rides may be finishing for the season, but there is a lot still happening. Community Rides led by Paul will be continuing year round. Follow @amenta_paul and @goswitchback to keep up to speed on those. We’ll also be hosting the Marji Roundtable soon, have an active commute week ride planned and have some more things in the works. Stayed tuned.

The Crusher. Freshly relocated to the Keweenaw Peninsula. Six of us took on the MS175, which turned out to be 208 miles of every surface known and unknown (trails flooded knee deep and waist deep beaver ponds) with 15k ft of relentless climbing. It was a quest of epic proportions.
112 people signed up for the MS175. 49 total finished. All 6 of us were finishers. There isn’t a stat or result that we could be more proud of as a team. It speaks to the resilience and determination of each rider, but even more to the way we all supported, encouraged and pushed each other. Things that hit at the core of who we are and how we want to show up in our community.
If you haven’t checked The Crusher out, I would. It’s not really a race, but rather an adventure and journey to embark on. The community participating in and surrounding it is genuine. There are multiple formats and distances to choose from. None of it is easy, but easy doesn’t stir the soul.

Big crew of the team headed up to tackle The Crusher this Saturday. It comes in a few different flavors, but these hearty souls will be tackling 206 miles of Keewenaw Peninsula gnar. It’ll be an adventure featuring singletrack, double track and what the hell is that. Hey maybe even some actual gravel 😂. Good luck to everyone embarking on this!
