Self Portrait, 2024
Iām back! Itās been over one year since I last made a feed post and I thought before I start posting my work again maybe I should explain the hiatus. I caught a neuroinvasive infection that spread through my spine and as a result I experienced paralysis, lost the ability to talk, even forgot how to spell my own name. I spent a long time in the ICU, then months on bedrest. I participated in case studies and ran what felt like every test under the sun. I took medications, underwent procedures, and finally I fully recovered. Iām so grateful to the family, friends, colleagues, and medical personnel that supported me in this time, and I am thrilled to say that I am now back to work. If you know me personally, you know that when something good happens in my life I like to say āthe universe has a crush on meā. It must really love me to let me survive this, so you better believe Iāll be making the most of it.
In an exciting update, I now split my time between London, New York and California, so letās meet up on set or in a coffee shop in SF, LA, NYC, or LDN. (I also love to travel for work, so please do consider me for projects in other places) I canāt wait to see whatās ahead ā¤ļø

Thank you so much to the British Journal of Photography (@bjp1854 ) for including my project in this weekās newsletter, and for calling it āgloriously unhingedā - there is no greater compliment.
