The full work of Native Intelligence/Innate Intelligence is an evening length performance on 8 dancers and musicians that incorporates dance, storytelling, Hawalian chant & percussion, original compositions for cello, and multimedia scenic design to examine ancestry, home, and belonging. Native Intelligence/Innate Intelligence asks us to consider where we come from and our ways of knowing that are both inherited and learned. The piece premiered in 2023, touring to five US states with additional tour dates in 2026.

Lighting Research for Titus Andronicus. Stoked how this show is my design debut at The Old Globe. 。◕‿◕。
So far, trying to decide the best lamp for a stadium atmosphere to give a good punch. Debating between fluorescents or molefay’s at the moment.
What’s interesting about my research is that my director wanted me to look into incorporating green to give off the horror aesthetic. I've never been a green color palette girlie, but I realized that the color green is used a lot in operating rooms to reduce eye strain and improve visibility during surgery.
Looking forward to sharing more of the process!
