I only heard about this AI doll trend when the artists I follow started calling it out. These past few days have been so reassuring and heartwarming to see so many of you actively fighting against the use of generative AI. I think it’s easy to feel on your own with this sometimes, I definitely feel like I’m fighting a losing battle but this art challenge has reminded me that the online artist community is f***ing great man. I’mma be real with you folks, the holy trinity of social media comparison, the repetition of my drawing process and Pokemon Legends made it very hard for me to stay motivated with these prompts. So i did what I always do when I have nothing left in the tank: I made something physical with my hands. There’s something really therapeutic about making tiny friends (I have a small collection of them now, including the physical manifestation of my anxiety). I’m so happy to invite Senor Limon to the party!

Say hello to enpitsu! I love how quickly this design came to me but I struggled so much with the rendering. It’s the first prompt that I have redrawn multiple times (there was an animation at one point!) and it has sadly set me back on my planning!
I am very grateful to @kawafi for making tomorrow a rest day because honestly I’mma gonna need it haha. I’m still hoping I can make it through the whole prompt list this month, but there are some tough prompts still to come 😂 wish me luck friends!
