take a light breakfast today, we still have 3–4 early 6pm tables left for DUDA & FRIENDS x TAPARI finale night tonight. our homecook Malay–Nepali “integration” menu is the kind of thing you’d normally only experience at someone’s actual home, not in a restaurant. oyster with fermented durian and pomelo dressing? chyaang rice wine? what!? basically something to aggressively brag about in the office on Monday to help everyone beat the blues. swipe for full menu before someone else sends you “omg why never tell me”. booking link in bio. see you tonight?!

Malaysia 🤝🏾Nepal… who knew we’d been seasoning the same way all along? We’ve teamed up with the legends at @dudadiner for a limited 3-day residency (14–16th May), bringing together bold spices, big flavours, and even bigger personalities. Because while our countries might be miles apart, our kitchens? Basically cousins. Expect: 🌶️ auntie-level judgment if you can’t handle your spice 🍅 straight-talking energy 🍛 small plates, big plates… no rules, just vibes This collab is extra special as part of Duda Diner & Friends’ series before closing their @goodcuplondon residency in June. So, yes… a little sentimental, but mostly, let’s eat ridiculously well. 3 days. Limited seating. Big flavour. Book your table and come hungry! More details on the menu dropping soon 👀

This is our uniform. A small tribute to the mums who taught us how to cook without measuring, to the supermarkets that stocked the flavours of home, and to the shared food cultures that brought us together. Designed by @kwakujosephbrand for TAPARI, it’s made to be worn often, tied on in a rush, a little flour-stained and sometimes, just to make us feel a bit pretty in the kitchen too. Not just an apron, just something we’ll keep cooking in. Images by @eshankali

We started by asking what snacks looked like growing up. The answers came from different homes but the ingredients sounded familiar. Khapsey during Loshar for prosperity and good fortune. (Naina) Chin Chin for birthdays, Christmas, and celebrations. (Grace) Nimki kept in jars for guests and tea. (Phul Maya) Different traditions, same core ingredients- flour, spice, oil, patience. And that’s where these kitchens found common ground.

“The first time we found our ingredients on a shelf that looked like home, it meant everything.” Afro-Caribbean and Asian supermarkets. Across South-East London and beyond, these aisles became a quiet meeting ground. Different journeys, different flavours; yet the same comfort in familiar spices, the same jars on kitchen counters, the similar snacks shared across tables. In these spaces, differences softened, and ingredients did the talking. Some collaborations begin long before you ever give them a name. From our kitchens to yours - TAPARI X Kwaku Joseph.

We had the best time being part of the @toothsome_magazine Bake Sale, raising money for @thefelixproject @youngmindsuk and @hospitalityaction Our Aalu Channa Puffs sold out, and the support on the day was unreal. Thank you to everyone who came through and made it happen! We were deeply invested in the raffle… unfortunately, none of us (or our friends) won what we wanted but we’ll be back with the same energy when the time comes 😌 Photography @eveeberlin

TB to when TAPARI took over IKEA Oxford Street 😮‍💨🔥 Cooking, talking, serving and turning the iconic IKEA plant ball into Plant Ball Manchurian! As the year comes to an end, we’re slowing things down for the Christmas break… but expect more pop-ups next year 👀🌶️

What a wholesome night that was 💛✨ In the midst of everything happening back home in Nepal, it felt so special to come together here, share a meal, and celebrate the flavours and businesses that make our community shine 🇳🇵🌾 Our collaboration with @villagegreengrocers was all about highlighting Nepali food, fresh produce, and the talent of small Nepali business owners and we truly feel we achieved that. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped bring this to life you made the evening unforgettable 🙏🏼🙏🏽 🎥 Vid: @humothy
