Unveiling the Layers of ‘EGO’: Where Pride Meets Power & Profit. ✨
When @davidacekeyzz tasked me with styling the cover for his latest track, ‘EGO,’ I was immediately captivated by its dual meaning: pride in English, and money in Igbo. This duality became the very heartbeat of our visual concept.
The brief was clear: a bold fusion of hip-hop swagger, David’s unique personal style, and Talk2dappa’s expertise. Listening to the track – a sharp diss to debtors – painted a vivid picture: he needed to embody a ‘big ass baller’ with that effortlessly powerful presence, the kind who carries a mental list of names in his pocket.
My creative dive began, pulling inspiration from the raw confidence of 90s hip-hop icons, the lavishness of fur coats, and the enigmatic allure of gangsters who understood the power of dressing. Pinterest and David’s own Instagram became our visual playground, marrying my vision with his aesthetic.
For the cover, an all-black look was non-negotiable. It symbolized the mystery, strength, and undeniable authority of someone who commands respect – and their dues.
This project pushed boundaries. Facing tight deadlines and the challenge of sourcing truly unique pieces, like that standout fur coat, meant we had to go beyond. Yes, that fur coat? We built it from scratch. This level of dedication ensured every detail contributed to the ‘baller’ persona, reflecting the tenacity in David’s lyrics.
The result is a visual statement that doesn’t just complement ‘EGO,’ but amplifies it. It’s a testament to how meticulous styling can transform an artist’s message into an unforgettable brand identity.

They say “less is more,” but I’ve always preferred “more is more” when it’s executed with precision. 🥂
This editorial began with a singular hair reference, a sculptural starting point that I used to develop an entire visual language. My goal was to pair that architectural crown with a silhouette that felt like molten metal, shifting the needle from a standard beauty shoot to a high-fashion statement.
The result is a masterclass in refined maximalism. It’s about more than the garment; it’s about the strategic positioning of the muse within the story we’ve built.

I’ve outgrown luck, now I move like prophecy.
No cards in my hand this time, just intention… the kind that doesn’t ask for permission, doesn’t negotiate, doesn’t miss. Funny how the same game that tried to humble me ended up teaching me how to read everything, people, patterns, energy. I don’t need a deck when I’ve already mastered the odds.
Romance still finds me, of course it always does. Soft eyes, sharp mind, dangerous taste. But I’ve learned not every heart is worth holding, and not every win is worth showing.
Call it growth, call it grace, call it whatever helps you sleep
I just know I’ve become the kind of man outcomes rearrange themselves for.
And if life is still gambling with me…
it should know by now
I don’t play games I haven’t already won.
Thank you to all who took the time to celebrate an ICON!
The messages, comments, reposts, you name it, I saw them all and I’m grateful for the show of celebration. May all who celebrated me be celebrated ten times over in their lives…
Until next year it’s a wrap from the birthday Man and we celebrate all week long…
Happy birthday to our Principal Consultant,
May he live long and wise beyond his years.
A study in control and contrast, this look reinterprets classic tailoring through a modern, editorial lens.
Crisp white separates are sharpened with structured pleats, elevated accessories, and deliberate styling choices that balance restraint with personality.
The result is a refined yet expressive silhouette that plays on themes of precision, confidence, and quiet dominance, where every detail is intentional and nothing is left to chance.

One of the biggest mistakes in Nigerian weddings is treating each ceremony look separately.
A strong wedding wardrobe is planned like a story:
• Ceremony look sets identity
• Post-ceremony look shows personality
• Reception look shows ease
When these are connected, photos look richer, the couple feels confident, and vendors work smoother because everyone is aligned.
This is the structure I bring into weddings — especially for grooms who are often overlooked in styling conversations.
If you’re planning a 2026 wedding and want your wardrobe handled properly from the start, send me a message.
Weddings are emotional, expensive, and permanent in photographs.
But wardrobe decisions are often rushed, unstructured, or left entirely to designers.
That’s where a fashion stylist belongs.
I help grooms and couples plan their looks across every ceremony so the final images feel intentional, balanced, and timeless — not accidental.
My focus is on groom-led styling, multi-ceremony wardrobe planning, and working closely with planners and designers so every wedding looks cohesive from start to finish.
If you’re a planner, photographer, or designer in Abuja looking to give clients a more polished wedding experience, I’d love to collaborate.
