About last night…
Last night we celebrated 20 years of Table Art with 90 of our incredible clients and team — and honestly, it was one of the best nights of my life.
Sitting beneath—and dining alongside—80 metres of patchwork fabric, crafted from two decades of tablecloths, was a moment filled with nostalgia and pride.
To have Melbourne’s top event stylists, florists, hire companies, caterers, suppliers and planners all in one room at the same time was… loud (in the best possible way).
This is usually the crew behind the scenes, making the magic happen — not front of house being wined and dined — and they absolutely leaned into it. As they should.
A huge thank you to the dream team who helped bring it all together:
@flowerjar for the beautiful blooms
@scenechangeav for lighting, AV & rigging
@foodanddesire@halfacre_venue for the food, drinks & venue
@social.eventhire for the furniture
@_alibailey for capturing it all
@topdogent@angusjameseventsxx keeping the energy high
@mollymtlsocials for content
@day_and_knights for your design work on our table setting book
And to everyone who came… thank you. You’re the reason we’re still here 20 years on 🤍
Also — apologies in advance for the story spam… I’ve been sent a lot of content and I’m simply not ready to let go of this night yet!

20 years in business = 20 years of getting things wrong before getting them right.
Behind every “successful business” are expensive mistakes, awkward conversations, bad decisions, lessons learnt the hard way & moments where you genuinely wonder what on earth you’re doing.
But every mistake forced us to tighten systems, ask better questions, back our expertise & understand our industry on a much deeper level.
I think one of the biggest misconceptions in business is that experienced operators have it all figured out. Most of us are still learning daily… we just panic more professionally now.
Would love to know — what’s a business lesson you learnt the hard way?

To all our event industry mothers. We see you, we feel you and we love you.
The hats you wear are endless. The pace, the juggle, the constant shift between roles and within it all, raising little ones in an industry that rarely slows down.
Today, we’re celebrating two women who hold it all with intention. Soph of White Top and Allie of Table Art, alongside their girls, Belle and Gretel.
Season after season, they shape moments, build experiences, and create what feels like the unimaginable, all while showing up as present, grounded, deeply loved mums.
A style icon. An event wizard. A constant, not just to your own families, but to your teams.
This is motherhood in the event world, through their eyes and through the ones who know them best.
A conversation with Sophie and Allie, surrounded by their girls, as Belle and Gretel share the qualities they love most.
We’re pulling back the curtain on the events industry...
After 20 years in weddings & events, we’ve seen everything
- the good, the chaotic, the slightly horrifying and the
downright hilarious. Here are some WTF moments from some of our trusted, tolerant, caring, professional clients…
If you have more, DM them through as we are happy to do series 2-10!!
