4 weeks ago today @tabitha.morton and I had the most epic wedding party. Full of love, joy, activism and music. The brilliant @bels_staff took hundreds of photos. Here’s 20 of them to give you a sense of the day.
So we’ll share more pics from our wedding party in the coming days but here’s the first few, of us. We didn’t pose for many pics but figured we should for a couple…

What a special evening welcoming the most impressive investors, exited entrepreneurs and founders to support female artists and entrepreneurs in support of @unwomenuk .
Our latest curation at Home House Studio titled She Believed She Could And So She Did is an ode to the most exciting female artists in London, from the striking figures of @ella.bril on expansive planes of colours to the female contemporaries of @rafaeladeascanio that she reimagined in ancient narratives. You may have also faced the confident gazes of @claireluxtonart ’ photographs, who tackles the many visual biases we have been victims of throughout history.
@angelasusiniart revisits our domestic sphere and makes it political while @scarlett__bowman refers Arte Povera in her use of materials.
It’s a treat for the eyes and shall awaken our conscious as there is still plenty to do in our visual world which continues to harm our gender.
A huge thank you to @mafaldaborea , @juneangelides@tabitha.morton for this special evening.

Cats of Paphos
According to Byzantine legend, Helena of Constantinople (Saint Helen) shipped hundreds of cats from Egypt or Palestine to Cyprus in 328 AD to control venomous snakes that had infested the area around the monastery, following a drought lasting 37 years.
Here’s a few that we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

Scenes from the lovefest that was @chrispaouros and @tabitha.morton ’s wedding yesterday. Sandi Toksvig and I played cupid by setting up the Women’s Equality Party and thus bringing them together, so Sandi conducted the ceremony and I gave a speech. And there were beautiful readings from WEP greats @mandureid and @drhannahbarhambrown and wonderful words from @a_ton_tay and Chris’s cousin Laggi (who borrowed Sandi’s outfit for his turn). Hearts were full and, as ever where this generous couple is concerned, bellies too. #love
Our CEO reflects on the start of #CSW70 in New York, where the question has been repeatedly raised: “Why do we have to be resilient? Why is the world not a just place?”
Stay tuned for more updates direct from Tabitha and other UN Women UK Trustees and Envoy donors as the 70th annual Commission on the Status of Women continues.

Great start to LGBTHM with @freeholdlgbt on their ‘Women Leading Out Loud in 2026: Visibility, Power, and Progress’ panel. First time @tabitha.morton and I have done a panel together and loved being on there with @aisha_shaibu_lenoir too

An extraordinary, moving morning at @royalfestivalhall cheering on @chrispaouros , dear friend, co-conspirator, activist and inspiration as she received an honorary doctorate for her work from the @lsbu . She gave a powerful speech to graduates which I will post separately (unless someone beats me to it… My camera work is particularly bad at the moment because the lens on my phone is broken). Included in this post is a snippet of the introduction to Chris’s citation. Also pictures of her wife @tabitha.morton crying (we all did).
