This 6-meter oil painting for @cafe_maxwell is all about connection over shared meals, conversations, and the moments that stay with us. Each figure and detail was painted with that in mind. I’m excited to finally share a behind-the-scenes look at the making of it.

Forever wanting to paint a work that represents the nights mothers first meet their babies. For me I had to stay in the hospital with my bf and baby a few days and ended up being there during new years night, watching the fireworks from the hospital rooms and celebrating a new life and a new year. Never felt beter.
