I have no words to describe how grateful I am for these 2 amazing years at FIT. To my professors who all guided me through this process and are the reason I am the designer I am today, I cannot thank you enough. I owe everything to you for always believing in me. To all of my friends in my cohort, thank you for all the laughs, cries and amazing memories. Thank you for always being there for me to lean on, I now have such great friends for life. You didn’t see this part of the Met Gala look… We wanted to show you what went into creating Anastasia Sanger’s custom Met Gala look!
Starting with inspiration from our NYFW 25 collection, we reworked the design to incorporate TABBE’s signature inflatable elements and bubble construction into the silhouette. From measurements and fittings to final alterations days before the Met, every detail was tailored specifically for her.

This custom dress for Anastasia at the 2026 Met Gala was developed in close collaboration from concept to final fit.
Liquid satin forms the base, bringing fluid movement and light, layered with sculptural inflatable elements and a custom-developed print made exclusively for her moment.
Softness, structure, and engineered volume in one cohesive expression.
