This year went by faster than any other year in my life and I’ve hardly processed any of it but somehow this body & brain managed to accomplish a whole lot in the last 12 months and I’m gonna allow myself to feel proud about it. I put out 3 original releases, gotten to play on some dream lineups, did a drastic 180 in my professional life, completed 3 [redacted] classes, have gotten my own tracks played on several radio shows in far away lands and have conjured up a handful of projects that I’m very excited about and can’t waaaait for them to be put forth into the universe... It can be easy to fall into old habits of procrastination and self-doubt but as long as this train keeps on moving, growing, learning and adapting on *most* days of the week, I’m feeling confident this coming year will be even more fruitful hehe 🧚🏼 I am grateful to be in decent health, and grateful to be in a position where I can continue creating as I recognize that opportunity alone is a major privilege. Having trouble going thru the thousands of photos & vids on my phone to find all documentation + screen recordings but here are some highlights I found :) many thank yous to all who’ve given me love and support this year <3 cheers

I have now lived in America for 22 years I have been a citizen for 1 year I have been taking Estradiol for one year “This bag holds a lot of dead people.” I play to mourn our dead, so that their lives may stretch and reverberate into the chasms of infinity. I play to mourn the selves that we may not become as we reckon with the hazards that may bring our lives to a preemptive end. I play to allow each feeling that you bring with you to become untethered from the monument that you have forged and called your self. So that you may leave your burdens on the forest floor and allow a new, fresh perspective to find its way to you. I play to allow you to feel that you may die and to shake you into the consciousness of what totality you may leave behind and hope that by enacting each portion of the desires that you hold for your being that you may find solace in some completion of possibility. I play so that I may feel empty, so that the cacophonous fullness of the being of each life I encounter may enter me and that I may feel its renewal through the growth of my love and empathy.

System was fully activated up in Vermont two weeks ago by the first iteration of @erisdrew @octoocta @beets.bi.blaire and @faited.fdotf new festival. A beautiful experience surrounded by friends new and old, deep forests, incredible music, and breathtaking stars

moooooo 🐮 I spend the last three weeks in the Northeast, assisting with @honchopgh and @systemactivate . I feel so lucky to spend time living outdoors in a new, novel ecosystem (look at these bugs & other critters!) while helping to shape these spaces into temporary dance floors. Leaning into music this summer instead of my typical outdoor pursuits has been a different type of adventure and I’m thankful for all the people it has brought into my life 💗
