Hey all, with the radio shows, it gives the opportunity share not only brilliant artists and sickk music, but it also gives the opportunity to highlight causes through this platform. With the post yesterday sharing recent AAJA radio sets, here I’m highlighting again @heartstonesanctuary in Ireland.
Why Heartstone? Heartstone has been going through the mill, and at present the animals who seek sanctuary there, are at high risk of being killed. Nía, the founder, is a dedicated advocate for both animal and human rights - always using her platform to bring attention to the G@nocide in G@z @ while working 17-hour days to keep the animals looked after — but this is taking its toll as you can imagine.
The situation is, if they can’t find means to save their land, the animals will be put down. To some this doesn’t matter, ‘they’re just animals’, I get it, to Nía these animals are her family. As someone who’s had animals save my mental health and bring joy into my life at times where everything was incredibly dark, the thought of putting a being down who’s brought such joy is gut wrenching.
We urgently need help spreading the word.
We are at the point where we need influencers on a large scale to get the word out there in an attempt save her land and the animals.

Here again highlighting @heartstonesanctuary (Ireland) - they are in a very tough position where their animals are going to be killed if we can’t find them the appropriate land for them to live out their lives. 💔🐶 FOUND PUPPY – GALWAY 🐶💔
I found this lovely puppy in Galway and brought her to the vets — sadly, no microchip was found.
Important info:
• Unchipped dogs stay 5 days with the Dog Warden while potential owners are traced
• We’re currently confirming if she’s now officially with the Dog Warden (based on a call with a rescue)
• Rescues are looking full 😔
If she isn’t claimed in the next 5 days, she will urgently need a loving home.
✨ She is SO sweet, gentle, and affectionate. I’d take her in, but we already have a dog who can’t live with a puppy.
