@ladydonli has been on my bucket list to interview for a while so it was a joy to speak to her at @synchrosystem.ca by @afriquelikeme for @deedsmagazine . Her curation of the vinyl listening room was top tier!

Sarz, yes @only1sarz delivered an Epic Set in Toronto in the 1st Edition of Afrique Like Me’s Synchro System. Enough said.
Slide 1 - Last Song of the Set. It had to be this Banger!
Slide 2 - Afrique Like Me Opens with the Titular Synchro System by King Sunny Ade Themba’s remix
We’re still reliving #SynchroSystem 2025! The crowd came correct and brought all the right vibes to the festival. Can you feel the energy?
We’ll be dropping more content in the next weeks and months so keep an eye out. In the meantime, we’d love to hear from you! What was your favourite thing(s) about the festival?

Curating The Listening Room at Synchro System was nothing short of a dream. I had the honor of playing my first-ever vinyl DJ set—digging deep into timeless classics and rare cuts from across the Continent. Slowly but surely building a wicked vinyl collection, and this felt like a real milestone. Huge love to @afriquelikeme for the opportunity and trust. What a moment—still buzzing from the energy and soul in that room 🫶🏾

#deedsshowtime: Synchro System was that Party!
What a night in Toronto. Synchro System brought together sounds from across Africa and beyond, and the city showed up ready to move. From the first beat to the very last, it was all about music, culture, and community moving in sync.
A reminder of how powerful it feels when rhythm connects us all.
